FRIDAY WHATS HAPPENING

Brrrrrrrrrrrr it was so cold yesterday...and last night too. (how cold was it???) well you know the answer to that one. LOL Im glad that I have my house plants and the plants I want to keep safely in the guest cottage. Well guess what the truck that was going to deliver the materials yesterday broke down and couldn't get it here . Suppose to be here today. We will see. I have to run to town early and get back I guess. Need a few things. LOL I love the lurker post I put out , got a few people that don't normally post to answer it and love that. Love new friends. Hope they continue to post either under my daily post or by themselves doesn't matter. Claudette: did you call David or email him. I wish he could get to the meeting Monday night. Yeah I saw that she and her daughter were up exercising. Good grief that is just wrong at that time of day. Lol Melissa: I bet you were really cold yesterday and last night weren't you? I wore a jacket in the house all day yesterday and had the heat cranked up too. I have never done that before. I was like you before surgery of having the fans going and the heat down to about 69 and running around in shorts or capris all winter long. Lol yesterday I had on a sweat pants and shirt and a jacket and socks. Lol don't know what I will do when it gets really cold. My husband wanted to know if I was sick. He really thought I was. Yes the hamburger meat that is low in fat content is really good and good for us too. It is just more expensive but I am trying to cook better for hubby too so I have switched to it. I am also buying the food with the extra beef and chicken packages from the food ministries which last us quite a while, since I eat such a little amount of it. Do your nails look pretty? I have got to go and get a pedicure soon. Hope you and your sister had a great time together. Sherry Baby: don't worry about the comments and that they got pulled . It wasn't very nice and I know from what I read of them that no one was being mean they just wanted to know some information . Hope your week went good. Rachael: will be praying for little sister at 9:am Im sure she will be fine but doesn't hurt to pray anyway. Well how did you like you stint in jail. Did you raise lots of money? Barbara T: so are you about done with the book yet? What is the name of it? Is it about you or is it about a third party person that is based on your life? Is it going to be for print or is this just for you personally? Im glad you decided to post on here. Have been missing you . Craig: where did you post the pictures? I went to your profile and all it has is the ones that you have always had on there. Im so glad that you came out of the closet and decided to post on here. I have been worried about you. Well who tells you you cant do something or the other and what is it that they are telling you that you cant do? Im so glad that you are going to go to nursing school , you will make a great nurse. Oh wow you going to become a handsome dude when you get all prettied up huh? Will have to fight the girls off with a stick. Did you get my email about Renee? Good news huh? Sherr: so sorry you are feeling so badly, Your doctor is sure the z-pak wont hurt your new little tummy isn't he? Are you able to swallow pill this early? Just don't want you to be making yourself more problems. I will be praying for you to get well and to feeling better soon . Look for the antibiotics to upset your tummy some if not a lot. They can give you diarrhea too. Take care of your self we love you and so sorry that you have to be sick like this right after surgery. I have to get to town and back home before the delivery truck gets here. Need to go to the hardware store, the groc store and the dollar store. Lol my usual places when I get to town, oh and yes to the Alltel store to get a new phone. Since they have one here in town I guess I can get what I want there. Will see. JAN!!!!! YOU are up earlier than me so look who's talking!!!!!!!! Daughter did NOT get up with me today! lol She didn't have school though so I don't blame her. I tried to to the workout titled, "fat burning maximum burn" and good LORD! I am NO dancer, have NO rythum, and should NEVER attempt that workout again!!!! I finally quit 2/3 way through it and did crunches and push-ups! lol I'm glad NO ONE saw me tryign to dance. I didn't know any Windsor Palates workout was dance but this one was! Glad I didn't buy it, it was given to me! lol Then I try to go on my email and realize I can't recall the new password I set!! DAMN! lol Guess I wasn't fully functioning yesterday morning when I changed it! lol So I am hoping the mid-day today it'll pop back into my head! I'm a nut a tell ya! Have a great day everyone! Yay! IT IS FRIDAY!!!! I don't think that I have been this excited for it to be the end of the week in a very long time! This was a very rough week! Glad it is almost over! Good Morning Everyone: Looks like it may warm back up here a little bit today. Getting ready to get motivated and run some errands this morning. DH has his 2 friends coming over this afternoon to help put the heater in his garage. And to install the door on the house & something about welding something. Did catch that part I was trying to get dishes done. lol I asked DH if since he was going to put a heater in his garage did that mean I can put a cot out there too for him. lol I dont think he thought that was too funny I dont know if I like the new format of OH or not. I kind of like it the way it was actually. Maybe it is just still too new for me thats why I dont care for it. And maybe I am just getting too old for change. NOT!!! Good Morning Jan & All: Isn't it a bright and lovely Friday morning? Well I started my liquid diet yesterday. On Wednesday evening John and I took the whole family out to dinner to celebrate the beginning of a new life. I know I haven't had surgery yet, but it is the beginning. I also wanted to discuss the incase scenerio of that very slim chance of not making it or worse yet, becoming dependent on life support. Not likely but still a possibility with any surgery. Of course nobody wants to hear it, but I made them listen to my wishes. All went well. I am so excited, 1 day less than 2 weeks away. I go on monday to my pcp she wants to run ekg etc on me again, then on 26th i go to hosp. to have blood work and talk to anastiologist. (wow, i'm sure i misspelled that). LOL Well enough about me. I hope everyone is doing very well and has a great day. Oh by the way, John or my daughter Shonda will let every one know how things transpire during surgery when they get to a computer, and how I am doing. God Bless all Your Friend Tressia

Jan, You did bring out a few "lurkers". lol I'm really not on here very much. Always busy doing something else I guess. When I do pop on, I usually read your morning message. Sounds like you are doing good and really have a good start on your journey. I am 2 years and 5 months post-op and thankful to say that I am at goal and holding. I have weighed everyday since surgery and kept a record of it. It amazes me to look back at the figures as they came down. I have been blessed with a very supportive husband. He has been wonderful....what effects us, effects our better halves, ya' know. You'll meet him at the Circle of Friends meeting. I'm looking forward to meeting you Monday night. Hey Jan My book is still basically in its infancy because I have procrastinated for years in writing this book which is about my life and the many things that God has brought me through. Now I realize that all of us has been through many things and tragedies. When the Lord told me to write this book the major procrastination point I've used is I can't see who would be intersted in my life, but I've been instructed to get my book finished and let God handle the rest. Sorry, but right now I'm not telling anyone what the book's title is because it has changed several times already and may change again. But I am buckling down and trying to get it finished by the end of the year, I really don't have much more to do because I've been writing this for nine years now, and when I get to parts that are very hurting usually I stop for awhile to catch my breath. People have told me that through my book my healing of deep things will come and I just believe God has a plan or else He would not have told me to write it. Before WLS and since I couldn't get around well at all, I would just sit and think most of the time about events that have taken place in my life that could have caused my death and I believe that is why I wasn't afraid to have the surgery because God has been with me all the time, so when I have a chance to speak to young women I try to help them avoid the pitfalls of this life, some listen and some do not, but at least I've given them what God tells me to tell them. Thank you for your interest and as I get closer to publication I will email you and tell you the name of my book, maybe you'll buy it and see how AWESOME God has been in my life as well as others I know. Jan & Company: Thank you momma Jan.... I did call the Surgeon's office before going to the PCP, and I got to talk to the nurse around 8:00 p.m. and she told me I can take any pills now, just take one at a time. I went to my primary doctor, and got the zpack, it says on the package not to take with antacids, which our doctor has us on 2 pecid completes, one in the a.m. and one in the p.m. So I didn't take those since I started the Zpac****ep a sick stomach, I think it's mostly my brain being so freaked out about just going thru something so tramatic...lol I've always been easy to get a sick stomach, sinch a little girl. Having the "flu cootie" sure makes you feel silly, the head spins and there is no energy...lol Kinda like being blonde..... XOXO S
