THURSDAY WHATS HAPPENING

Raining again, not that Im complaining but I really would like to get this greenhouse done. Oh well it will get done. Yesterday we finished painting all of the living room. Ceiling walls and trim is all done now in the guest cottage. We still have to finish giving the hallway and master bedroom walls a second coat and painting the ceiling in those. I would love to get most of this done before it gets really cold this winter but don't know if it will happen or not. I could eat very little yesterday. Nothing wanted to go down good and so I reverted back to early days and had some chicken broth . My stomach still feels heavy and weird this morning but hopefully will be better later. Got to go give myself my B-12 injection either today or tomorrow , will have to look it up and see what day it is due. I have been feeling a little less energetic the last few days so I guess that is what is the matter. I bought a project yesterday at a garage sale that ought to be fun for this winter. It was an old but unopened doll house kit to build yourself. I have always wanted to do that and it is pretty good size one. Something to do on those cold rainy days during winter at the dining room table. I have a big table so we can do that and have room to leave it out. Will wait until after Christmas to start it and then wont have to move it that way. Lol. We usually do a huge big ,big jigsaw puzzle over a month or two in the winter . Craig: glad to see you are ok. Was beginning to worry about you. I have emailed you but gotten no response. I guess you are out gadding about. Lol. Isn't it great to be able to do for yourself now. Great on the weight loss. You are about to hit that 100 pound weight loss mark. That will be so great when we hit that. I am down as of this morning 42 pounds. Sure wish you would get a new picture up. I know you have to look different from that much weight loss. Benny: How is your mother, you didn't post how she was after the surgery or what they found. Please let us know. I am continuing to pray for her and you too. Colette: Oh wow on the water problems that can be a hassle cant it. I hope you got that all solved. Glad you were able to get a plumber on such short notice. Sometimes that is hard to do. Yeah I know I need to get a new picture on the computer but now since they have changed things I don't know if I can find out how to do it at all. I don't like this new stuff they put on here do you? Your week end coming up sounds like you are going to have fun with family Claudette: LOL Im about to totally give up on trying to do the new profile stuff. I don't like the layout of it at all. Looks too much like all the others blogs and stuff on the computers. And with people being able to comment on what you wrote makes it not like your own anymore. I cant find where to change your picture for the post on the message board either. It has disappeared too. I guess Im just too old for some of this new stuff. Lol Wow did you see the comments disappear on one of the other posts that was made yesterday? Who did that and why? Guess we don't have the freedom to say what we like on here? Wow if there will be 30 at the new meeting that is a really good start wont it? I plan on being there too and cant wait to meet you and see some of the others that I havent seen in a while. Melissa: I hope you are having a great visit with your sister. Special times with sisters isn't it? The parade on Sat. sounds fun. Isn't it great to be able to walk and move around again. It is amazing isn't it. We ought to franchise the car wash and spread them all over the U. S. lol Let us know how the visit went and what all you two got into while she was there. Lol I know you , you probably went down and stayed all day at the car wash didn't you. Lana: you have a good day at work today, I know you are really looking forward to going on your trip this week end but be careful . Do you have to keep on taking the prevacid all the time now or just when you have heartburn? Hope that gets better for you . That isn't fun to put up with. Guess what I have getting ready to make . Butternut squash soup. Doesn't that sound good? Yummy. Wish you were here I would give you a big bowl. Tami: I hope the new glasses work for you and you quit having the headaches. I know that isn't fun. The photo shoot with the girls sounds like silly fun . Those sort of things is what they remember when they are grown , not the expensive gifts and such but those fun days and times with mom and dad. Make more of those memories. Your 7 year old sounds like she just wants a break everyday and going to see the nurse is a good way to do it. Lol I hope to be walking 3 miles at a time soon . I use too long ago before the weight gain walk 5 miles every day in an hour. Now that is picking them up and putting them down. I don't think I will ever get back to there. Lol Never know tho. It is 7 miles from my house out to the little store on Highway M , I would love to be able to walk all the way there and back , maybe one day I can. That is a pretty big goal to aspire to tho. Since there are some really huge hills on this road too. Will have to be in better shape than I am now that is for sure so for the time being I will stick to walking my mile a day lol I am only 2 months out but already I can say that this surgery was the very best thing I have ever done for ME. I am thinking of maybe getting a part-time job somewhere. I don't think I want to go back to nursing tho. I don't really want that much stress in my life but I don't know I might be able to handle it a little better now. And if I just worked 2 or 3 days a week it would be better maybe. Lol. Where are all my August operation buddies? Barbara, Linda, Brenda, Lucky, Honey. Seems like the August girls have all left and ran off to lands unknown. LOL Brenda I know I know that you have posted some but had to include you just for the fun of it. Also where is Debbie has anyone heard from her lately? Andrew are you feeling better now. Have you found a psych doc that will accept Medicare over there close to you yet? If not I can give you the name and number of the one over here and you can come and stay in my guest cottage overnight . Would love to have you. Same to you Debbie. It isn't totally done yet but is livable. We may get delivery of the polycarbonate for the green house today. That ought to be interesting seeing this huge semi come down in this area , there is room but just don't see semis down here lol don't know it may be Friday they said they would call if they weren't going to deliver it today. Good Morning Everyone: Hidy Ho everyone. Didnt it get cold last night?? I had the heat on and was under my electric blanket I was so cold. And they say it isnt supposet to get that warm today either. My sister finally arrived yesterday afternoon. She said I-44 was a mess with all the construction and that what took so long. I am dreading that I have to go to Columbia on the 25th for my 6 month follow up. I fixed dinner for all of us they had speg w/meatballs, chessy garlic bread. I had sort of like a speg/goulosh and 1 peice of cheesy garlic bread. I used the dream fields pasta that has ONLY 5 degiestable carbs in it and you cant taste the difference. DH also went to Wal Mart and got me a small package of hamburger. He found hambuger that is now 96/4. Has only 4 grams of fat for 4oz, no carbs, and 26 grams of protein!!!! Very very very lean hamburger!!!! And was really good tasteing also. You just have to watch while you cooking cause I didnt have to drain one ounce of fat off of it. I just love it when I hear about sometime new that is good for us!!! Well I need to get busy. I have shots to take and pills to chew, Protein to drink. lol You all know the routein. My sister and I are going to Wal Mart, and then to get our nails done. Woot Woot. Been awhile since I have been beauty-fied. She is going to head out around noon or so. Hello Missouri.... Well tomorrow is the beginning of the new life for my little sister...I am so proud of her that she is taking this step in her life, so please everyone keep her in your prayers...Her surgery is at 9 am.... It is very gloomy here today and I am trying to work and all I want to do is take a nap...I have to go this afternoon at 3pm and be locked up for Muscular Dystrophy...my office mate's son nominated us to serve time for the cause...Hope everyone has a blessed afternoon....and stay warm.... Hey Jan I decided to make a concentrated effort to work on my book and stop procrastinating with it, I really want to get it done by the end of this year, but there has been many many road blocks. so I have been writing instead of so much just sitting in front of my computer , it will never get done unless I buckle down. Thanks for your encouragement it means a lot and I'm keeping you in my prayers and yes I do read the posts but I haven't been responding much. I emailed Sweethoney to check on her and never got a response from her. Hope everything is well with her. Anyway back to the book, God bless and have a great evening. Barbara T.

Hey Jan, yes it does feel good to get out more and do more things for myself..I still get told sometimes that im not suppose to do this and that but I sneak and do it anyways.. LOL.....I have posted two new pictures up my niece took of me with her cell phone they arent the best in the world to show my weight loss good but you get the idea.....I look stupid in them .. I Need to get my hair styled and my teeth worked on next , that is my next project....also ive decided to go to nursing school in KV at the Moberly Community College there.....I cant wait ...........God Bless Craig Lee

Jan & Company! Well, I am not dying after all....not even STREP, but just reallly realllllly infected tonsils, blek.... Doctor wouldn't call in anything yesterday, so I went and sat in a little room for 2 MORE hours today for him to look, and say, "Nope, not strep...." and fill me out a script for a ZPACK..... then another hour back on the road home, to Wally world to get the script filled. Been, kinda out of it all day, and fluish and head spinning, etc... I am with Mel Mel on the electric blanket, I like having my bones "baked" it feels so good, especially since I can't take CELEBREX any longer.... I am also in agree-ance about making the Columbia trip next week too....This weather, 43, windy, and rainy, isn't conducive for road trips Lucky will be in town the Sat. before I arrive on Sunday, so I called my hotel today to try and bump my stay by one additional day so I can hang out with her, and THEY ARE SOLD OUT It's a MIZZOU football weekend , I shoulda known.... Had my gall bladder out last week. Have almost hit the 100 lbs mark. 1.5 to go. I'll be finishing up my interview with KSPR 33 soon.
