How do I find a dietician??

Hello! I had my 1st surgical consultation this past Friday and now I have a list of things to do such as see a psychologist, a dietician, some blood work, etc. How do I find a Dietician? I live in the Kansas City area. Thank you in advance for your help. Delana

Delana: Do you have a PCP? My PCP set up my appointment with a dietician. That would be my suggestion. I wish you well, Debbie D.

Delana, i dont have any idea. my surgeon has the one at the hospital to do a thing with you on the day of your pre ops. so i didnt have to worry about it. Good luck on finding someone. Jan

I live in Lee's Summit and the dietician I saw was Kuta. She holds groups @ MISH (hospital ) off Lakeview Ave. I emailed you her phone number. I have the same insurance as you and it does not cover the dietician. $50.00 is the charge for the class. Hope this helps. My surgeon is Dr. Udobi @ KU Med Center. I am scheduled for surgery November 20, 2006. My first consult with Dr. Udobi, who is also a trauma doc and teaches, was July 14, 2006. Nancy
