lap band surgery

Hi everyone I am new to this site and I am in desperate need of some help and guidance I want to get lap band surgery I have a bmi of 42.5 am diabetic, have high blood pressure and colesterol and an insurance company that denies any help in the weight loss area is there anyone out there that has been successful in getting an insurance company that orginally said they would not pay --to go ahead and pay and if so how did you do it. I pay high premiums monthly and do not understand this insurance company Blue Cross Blue Shield Alliance I am desperate for help I do not have the funds to pay for this surgery outright and need to have the surgery for health reasons Thanks for your help
