Had my first consultation with Dr. Hornbostel yesterday!

Hi, Well, I had my initial consultation with Dr. Hornbostel yesterday. My dh went with me. We were both very impressed! He spent close to an hour with us and answered both of our questions. He thinks I'm a perfect candidate for lap rny. He also believes my surgery date will be sometime right after the first of the year. Hope he's right! My insurance is changing effective 11/1/06, however, Dena has told me they have the same requirements as my old insurance so there should not be a problem. I hope she's right! So now is the waiting for approval game, we will see how long that takes. Unfortunately, Dena was out sick yesterday so I didn't get to meet her. I did get to meet his other nurse Janice. She was quite nice as well. I meant to update last night but was too tired from being gone all day. Hope everyone is having a great Thursday! Debbie D. P. S. congradulations Debbie we have been looking for you ....glad you saw dr. H. and man you must be someone special for him to spend so long with you. make me jealous lol. no he is really good about answering all your questions so if you had a lot of then he was more than willing to answer them im sure,. now we will jsut be waiting for you to get approval and the date.
