BETTY MYERS UPDATE (Plastic surgery)

I have spoken to Betty today (thank the Lord - girl you HAVE got to keep that cell phone on you!) and she has asked me to post an update for her. She had Trunk/Upper Body PS (large volume liposuction) this past Friday performed by Dr. Centeno (St. Louis area)... By her report she is doing quite well considering she says she is sure that she has been run over by 18 (not 17 or not 19...but DEFINITELY 18) MACK TRUCKS loaded of course. They removed 22 liters of fat and she had to receive 2 transfusions. She had 4 drains but is now down to 2 I believe. Reporting bruising in areas that she never thought one could bruise in. But even with the post op swelling she is down over a whopping 20+ LBS!!!.... She has also reported that taking a soothing warm shower is the closest thing to ... can we say AHHHHHHHHHHH ..... She thinks the world of Dr. Centeno and has had NOTHING but praise for his expertise and the kind/caring staff that he employs. Boopster is not able to post at this time due to the discomfort and swelling but I'm sure that she will be on here in no time and filling us all in on the details ..... I'm very happy for her and am pleased to be able to pass along this information for her.... BEST WISHES BETTY BOOP... I'm quite proud of you chicquita!~ Pixielf~

WOW...20 lbs through liposuction. I wonder how much they could get out of me...10 would be good! I'm glad she's doing well, and I hope this will be just the boost she needs to reach whatever goal she has in mind. May she have a super-speedy recovery! Pamela

Pamela... Thank you for taking the time to respond to Betty (although I don't think she is up and about yet ...) I will have to tell her that you sent your well wishes!... Yes she said that they got that much ... which is phenomenal isn't it? I know that it will makes things much easier for her. She really had nothing but good things to say about her PS and his support staff. She was THAT impressed with their care and expertise. I have been wondering where you have been girlie... how are things going for you??? Pixielf~
