I have been reading lots of posts. I am going for New Starts Seminar on 10/24. I have noticed that if people are having a hard time loosing, everyone says to make sure to get your "protein in" or "do protein first". What does that mean? Is this real protein, a pill, drink? Little confused. Thanks.

M What they mean is to make sure you are getting in all the protein that your surgeon recommends. Depending on where you are at in the stage of post-op. Depends alot on how you can get in your protein. Most of us here use a protein powder that you mix with 8oz of low fat milk. After you hit a certain stage in Post-op then you can get alot of your protein thro regular foods. I am 5 1/2 months out and have no restriction on eat wise but still do my protein shake each day. I hope this helps answer your question. And please feel free to pop in anytime and ask anything. Thats what were all here for is to help one another!!!! God Bless Melissa
