Walking......and other stuff
I have walked everyday for the last 2 weeks for atleast 30 minutes. Most of the time I've been going much longer than that. It's a little warm today so it was just for the 30. My dog is loving the walk. I always want to go back to bed after putting my daughter on the bus, but have been forcing myself to get moving! So far it's been working. Trying to get that habit in place. I haven't lost any weight even though I just had a fill 2 weeks ago. I do feel stronger though. I have been maintaining a 100 pound loss for a couple years now, but would like to get the rest of this weight off. I have been drinking protein shakes 3 times a day and doing better about getting the water in. Of course there is much room for improvement. I'll keep up with the walking outside until it gets nasty weather and then I'll start using the gym we have at our new apartment.
Emotional Eating. I am still working on this. My counselor has turned into more of a marriage counselor than a food counselor. I try very hard to keep junk out of the house. Sometimes it finds it's way in though. I have a 7 year old! She doesn't need it either. I hope someday to conquer this emotional eating thing. The band has been a wonderful tool for me, but I can still eat junk. I promised myself to continue working on this for myself! I am diabetic and on half the neds I used to be on, but I'd like to get rid of another pill or 2!
