Hope everyone is doing great. I'm very happy to see that Sherr did good on her surgery! Bet she's glad it's over! Craig, I have to agree with everyone, very inspirational!! Congrats!! So glad that everyone is doing good! Pre and Post! Theresa H....I didn't realize how many types of cardiomyopathy there were...thanks for the input. He has had this condition for decades (undiagnosed) and with the meds. he's on now. he's doing pretty good. I want to take CPR classes as well as try to get a home defibrillator. You never know and if it's possible to save him whenever, if ever he has an attack! I want to be ready in all areas!! Andrew....got your post that we have to have a psych. eval. now. Just don't know what to tell the shrink about it! As far as I know, Medicare doesn't pay for psych. evals. and if Coventry finds out that it's for a wls, they won't pay. I need to come up with an excuse for the psychologist that will make everyone happy and have insurance pay for it! Dena also said something about "still waiting" on a call from the hospital too? I didn't understand what she was talking about and forgot to ask. I will write or call her this week to try to find out more! I didn't go to the Dr. about my chest pain/back pain/fluid in lungs. I got prayed for last Sunday and it all went away! I couldn't see going to the Dr. when I didn't have anything wrong, that all my symptoms were gone! Praise God!! For those of you that may not be believers in God and his healing abilities, I'm not sure what to tell you other that get yourself a Bible and read, go to a church and worship God, find a Christian friend that will help you or drop what your doing, drop to your knees and ask God for guidance!! What an awesome experience! Others of you may not understand what I'm about to say next but some of you will and those that will, will be blessed! I have been waiting nearly 40 years for the experience that I finally received last Sunday! As I was down at the altar being prayed for; praying, crying, wailing out loud.....I recieved a gift that I have always thought just wasn't mine to receive! I received the gift of tongues! I have been witness to many, even my own son! I just couldn't understand why everyone kept asking me if I had, and I hadn't. After all these years, I just figured that was a gift that I was not to receive. I had already received so many other gifts, I didn't want to be selfish! I just kept praying, that if it was meant to be, then God's will be done! I thought all I was going to get "in that area" was the quivering lips and chattering of teeth.........boy was I wrong!! Right in the middle of everything, here I was, speaking out another language and didn't even realize it, as first! It was when everyone around me went crazy with their praying that I realized what was going on. I guess I wasn't the only one that had been waiting!...lol Praise His Awesome name!!! Love & Prayers! Hey Deb, I've called a few shrinks around here, they seem to all be familar with people having the gastric bypass and needing an eval. I've found out Medicare does pay for one IF , thats a big IF, IF you can find a shrink that will accept Medicare. So far around here there is none that take Medicare, they tell me they wont take it cuz Medicare pays so little. Their fee's are running around $500 There's no way I can afford that. I'm still looking tho. Im gonna call my pcp back and see if they know a psycologists in the area. I might just have to take my chances without one and pray that Medicare doesnt check my records, i dunno. Sure hope you get a surgery date soon On a brighter note, thats awesome about your experience with the Lord....God works in wonderous ways with the Miracles He performs. It's so wonderful to see how God works different ways in different people. My wife and I used to travel with a tent Evangelist and his family when we first got married. My wife actually grew up with the two daughters he has. We traveled all over oklahoma and up and down the east coast with them doing inner city revivals. We lived in Tulsa, OK at the time. A few years back they felt the Lord wanted them to move to the east coast, one thing lead to another and we didnt go with them. He's since retired but both his daughters now head up the ministry. They are wonderful singers and both preach. I miss those days of ministering and seeing people gettting healed right in front of my eyes and seeing other miracles that God did. I dunno why I told ya all that lol anyway...i know the Lord is in control of the WLS. God Bless ya!! Andrew

any hospital that accepts medicare should have a pcyscolitgist that accepts medicare. I found one over here if you want to drive that far. I still had to pay 120.00 but better than 500.00 Also call Dena and see if the one there in Sedalia accepts medicare. You dont want to go thru the surgery and then have medicare to not pay your bill. that would be sad. Jan

Sorry sometimes I get a bit discouraged Jan, Im not gonna do without the psych eval. I'll find someone around here. Im waiting on a call back now from a Community Counseling Center in the next county over. They dont normally take patients out of different counties but they said I might could if I pay $70 an hour, shouldnt be more then an hour hopefully. They do take medicare and all but since Im not in their county they cant for some reason. Anyway Imma get it done one way or another!! Andrew
