THURSDAY WHATS HAPPENING
We have a cold front moving in and is suppose to only get to 62 all day today. And tonight is suppose to get down into the low to middle 30s. Now that is exactly why I am trying to get my green house built quickly. I know this will only be one night but wont be long before it is a nightly thing. I potted up several things I am going to try and over winter so that I don't have to restart them next spring. I have a Brugmansias that gets really big and I would like to keep it alive thru the winter. Any way all the plants that I have potted up I have them all next too the tool shed and before dark today will put a tarp over them . By fastening it to the shed and put the other end on some poles so it doesn't touch the plants but covers them.
WE got the holes dug for the post today so we are ready with that. and also I dug down to where the water line is so my hubby can cut into that and put a line up to go inside the green house. I can tell it tonight too my back and arms are sore. Lol
We are going over to Eureka Springs today to visit with my youngest daughter and to take them to supper. I told her to pick someplace that has a lot of different things that way I can find something to eat.
If nothing else I will have a spoonful of this and that off of their plates.
Walking yesterday was only one block around since my knee was starting to give out on me.
It feels alright right now and did yesterday when I started out but after climbing the one really big hill it decided it didn't like that.
Well on to the recap:
Sugar: Glad your supper at church turned out well. Do you all ever get any homeless people to come to your Wednesday night suppers? Just wondering? You all think I stay busy you havent seen my sister. She is on the go all the time.
Andrew: Hope you and Susan had a wonderful anniversary . My DH and I will be married 19 years this December. Sure doesn't see that long . Also tell her that I am more than glad to share flower seeds with her. I have an over abundance of a lot of things. Your new place sounds like it will be all spiffy for you all when you move into it. I know you will enjoy being outside more
Barbara T: Yes it is certainly a blessing , this tool that God has allowed us to have isn't it? I know every day I get so amazed when I get out of bed and start walking toward the bathroom Im not having to hold onto everything in sight any more to get things straighter up and to be able to walk. It is almost like a miracle. To those of you that have yet to have the surgery it is like you almost have a new body, never mind that it is wrinkly and getting saggy it is beautiful in the fact that it is starting to work again like it use to.
Barbara if I can find something to work at that will be fun and interesting I would like to do that too. I know I could get my nursing lic back and do some nursing but I think I am still to burnt out on that. It is a really hard job. I think I would just be adding so much stress back into my life from the job that I would start being miserable again. I have thought about it. And maybe if I just did it a couple days a week it would be ok but like I said it is really a hard job. I think I could handle the physical part but just don't know if I am ready for all of that mental stress again.
Brenda: great to see you today. Sorry about the back hurting . Lets hope the resting it will help. WE get so over enthusiastic about all we can do that I guess we over did huh?
I know you are excited about getting to see the grandson in Oct. They will be surprised to see you too wont they.
Your grandson sounds like he is going to be a tall boy when he grows up.
Take it easy and rest for a couple of days. The rest of the cleaning will wait.
Sherr: What your dad had done to his knee is what I am going to have done to mine I hope.
Be careful on your drive to Columbia today. Is anyone going with you for surgery? Will you be staying there the week after surgery too?
Not much longer sweetie. Know that we well all be praying for you and giving you lots of cyber hugs and smooches. We will be waiting for Melissa to let us know how you are doing.
Benny: so good to hear from you sweetie. Im so sorry you fell and hurt your back. Sounds like it was really serious.
Wow on losing so much weight . You are really doing well Not too long until your surgery now. Has your mother come around on this and agreeing that it is what you need to have done now? I hope you do get to the meetings soon . We are anxious to meet you too. If possible hope you can come to the one on Oct 9th.
I will be praying for your grandfather. It is hard to lose our grandparents and parents but is something that all of us either have done or will do. Doesn't make it any easier but at least you know that you aren't alone. WE all love and care about you so hang in there boy.
LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS

Momma Jan:
Yes, sweet momma, I am about to head out. I am going by myself. But, it's okay! I will drive up today, and stay in the Regency Hotel overnite. Then get a cab to the hospital in the morning at 8:00 a.m.
My surgery is at 10:00 a.m. now, got the call yesterday. They moved it up 30 minutes.
I sent Mel Mel the telephone numbers for the Hospital, and I know she will be coming here to tell you guys how it's going.
I am so excited at the thought of getting my life back, I can't tell you guys, well, yes! I guess I can.....because EACH of you "KNOW" what I mean.
I love you all, and want each of you to know that I couldn't have made it without your love and support. It meant the world to have that!
Sherr
Good Morning MO Peps:
Okay Brrr it is chilly outside today. I need to move my plant from the ground up onto a plant stand today. Going to be closeing my windows again and trying to keep it half way warm in the house today. I am thinking about putting on a pan of beans. I always loved a good stew or beans, soup when it was cold outside. Maybe try to paint some more on my lighthouse. Go pick up my B-I-L's g-friend from work and take her home. Try and get to Hobby Lobby to get some antiqueing paint for my lighthouse. To give it that old and weatherd look. Well time for me to start moving and getting some stuff done.
Sherr: I will be talking to you on and off today. Your in my thoughts and prayers for a safe drive to Columbia. 24 hours and counting!!!! Luv ya gurl!!!!
Everyone: I just wanted to say thank you so much for the complements. I can look in the mirror and see a small change. But that is the fat girl inside my head look out. And I have put her on notice that she has 7 months to move out and chage her address forever. Becuase she has over stayed her welcome by a long shot!!!
You all always know just want to say to lift a person up in spirits!!!
Love ya'll
Melissa

Girl,
Look wonderful....Keep up the great work.....You better put that girl on a for real notice......I am still trying to put mine on notice and she still has not left....slowly working on it....If I could ever figure out what is causing all these issues with me I would be happy.....Now I have had to have labs done for work the last couple of months and my protein level has gradually gone down to almost too low....and I have been taking extra protein with the shakes and everything....My hubby and M-I-L keep telling me to find a new doctor so I can find out exactly what is going on with me....Hope everyone has a great day....I am at work and we are kinda slow right now....
God bless to all
Rachael
PS Please continue to keep my mom in your prayers because we still have not heard anything from the insurance companies....

Good afternoon Jan and All
Just a quick "HELLO" to everyone, I've already been up and out to do my "GIRL THANG" today this is my pamper me day
Jan: Thank you for being so sweet and kind, yes it is exciting to realize the many changes taking place in us on this side of the journey, just being able to walk and breathe at the same time was a "wow" moment for me . I wore an outfit that I of course could not get into before WLS and now I can, so today my nail tech said "It's good to see you in more than black or brown" and others really see the difference now. God bless you, I think it's very nice that you try and inspire everyone, but there are a few on here who only have encouraging words for a select few. We all are on the bench together, right? And this is being said in
Melissa: You look great
and I know you are proud of your weight loss CONGRATS to you. I love your new picture I don't know how to put one up and I don't have any recent ones anyway because I really don't like taking pictures, I still look in the mirror and see myself as still the fat girl too, so my question is when does that type of thinking go away?
Sherr: Will be praying for you today and realize that God is right there too as he guides your Dr's hands, so God bless and keep you, we'll be waiting on a report about how you are doing.
Brenda: It's good to see that you are doing great and feeling better, sorry to hear about your back, hope you feel better real soon.
Andrew: Hope you and Susan had a blast on your anniversary
To everyone have a wonderful and blessed day in the Lord, may God's richest blessing overtake you.

Hey big sis...OOPS! I mean little sis!
We dont have people just come in off the street although we would feed them if we did, but we do feed a guy every week that is down on his luck. He rides from Springfield with a couple that come always. The supper went very well and we fed about 45 or so I think. There wasnt a whole lot left over and we cooked for about 60 so...either they ate alot or there were more there than we thought! They must have liked it and at least no one
I love ya! Sugar
