Today is Wednesday, so tonight is cooking for 50 or so at church! We are going to be serving a cowboy supper...Old Settler Beans, Beans and cornbread, cucumbers, tomatos and onions and peach and blackberry cobblers with ice cream. Okay, I know they probably didnt have ice cream on the cowboy trail but cobbler just isnt the same without it! A friend and I will go start cooking this afternoon, after we go exercise. I go to water aerobics almost everyday. Everyday that I can anyway. I had to start on a diet and exercise program for my insurance and it has been the best thing I could have done. I had done WA before but not with this same intensity and vigor. This is so good that I have lost 12 lbs since I started. But more important than the weight is the fact that my body just feels so much better. The joints arent as stiff and the arthritis is actually hurting less. Just wanted to pass that on in case someone is looking for something to help. I intend on doing this for the rest of my life I think. I can't imagine not getting that feeling of doing something so good for myself. I am also in the process of trying to get a serenity room completed in my house. My house is kinda small and one of the spare bedrooms is going to be my retreat for prayer, bible study and just relaxing. I'm calling it my "Fall into Serenity" room. "Fall" bcause it is all decorated and painted to mimic fall colors. One wall will have a mural of a fall tree scene in the woods with a creek running through it. Yesterday I even made a tree (I know, only GOD can make a tree). I took a sapling from my back yard and cut it down, stripped off all the leaves and then covered it with silk fall colored leaves. It looks pretty real. And "Serenity" because that is what I hope to find when I enter the room. It will also be my guest room for company so I hope to make it very comfortable. Well, enough I need to go get my day started. LOVE TO ALL AND PEACE WITHIN, remember when you think "It's not possible!" God will say "All things are possible." Luke 18:27

the meal sounds really good but as a gastric patient i guess we would havent survived the trail ride too well lol well we could have had the beans but that would be about it. I am axious to see your new room . You are so good at that sort of stuff and make things so pretty . Just like the new curtains you made for my kitchen , i still love them and think they are so pretty. Wish i could get into Springfield every day and do water aerobics with you but it is just so far to drive. Have fun today. Jan
