Possibility of Surgery in December

Hello, everyone. My name is Sugar and I am the sister of Jan Cook. As you all know, Jan or (Chee Chee) as I call her, has had her surgery and I am hoping to be next! Things are looking up to the possibility of the later part of December. I am in the process of the 6 months of diet and exercise that my insurance company requires. I would like to request prayer from all the believers out there for the paper work and Drs to all get everything together and for it to happen. Hope to get to know all of you! My sis thinks the world of all of you folks and since she and I are cut from the same cloth, I would think WE ALL will be best buds before long. May there always be love in your heart! Sugar

well glad you got back on here and glad you posted. You will love all of these people here. There are some really wonderful Christian people here. We all pull for each other all the time . And you know you are already on my prayer list. love you baby sis. Jan

Sugar You will be in my thoughts and prayers. For a speedy approval for WLS. I meet you in Springfield at the support meeting a couple of months ago. We all think the world of your sister here too. Keep us posted on how your doing. And dont be such a stranger to the board!!! God Bless Melissa

Hi Melissa, Yes I remember meeting you and I agree with my sis, you need to put up a new photo. I wouldnt have recognized you at all. You didnt look like this photo when I met you 2 months ago. Thanks for responding and thanks for prayers. Sugar

Thanks Barbara for the support. My sis is quite the big sis (who is shrinking and going to be my very little sis soon) I appreciate all the prayers I can get.

Sugar, I met you at the Springfield meeting too, and I also am on the six months diet/exercise program. I don't do the water stuff but I go to the New Images program at HHI and I, too, think it is a good thing. I will be done in December and hope to have my surgery after the first of the year. I'll sure pray for you and you remember me too as I'll be getting it all together in December. Hugs and love to you. Lana

Hi and glad to know others who may be my litter mates in this big deal! LOL! I wish you luck and best wishes with your pursuits of surgery..let me know when you find out things for sure so we can cheer each other on. I did the New Images program for over a year but my insurance company wouldnt except it because they didnt keep good enought records to prove what I was involved with there. Hopefully they are doing a better job of that now. I also went to the water program there at Hammons pool. Will you have your surgery in Springfield? I am going to have to go to St Louis.Thanks again for the encouragement and hopefully we will meet again soon. Sugar
