Welcome "A"!! What town do you live in, (((or area if you don't want to share your city))) I live in Southeast Missouri.... My surgery is next Friday, and I know my life will be better that it ever would be w/o it. Welcome aboard brother...you will LOVE it here, and the people are truly angels!! S

Atonio, Welcome to the most loving board in the world. Jan is our Momma and she keeps us all together but everyone is so caring you'll just love it. Keep posting as much as you can. I'm in month four of a six month diet/exercise program required by my insurance company so I hope to have the surgery after the first of the year. Just wanted to pop in and say welcome to our board. I also have Dr Hornbostel and I have my first consult with him in Dec. so, I know what you mean. I went to the Sept 5th meeting. I'm scared too. I have a whole bunch of things going wrong on me besides the weight. I also have a "bad" back I had 4 vertabra's fused a year ago - then the screws backed out of the rods so they had to re-do the whole thing this past January. fun fun Fun huh... I'm just hoping this WLS will help with the Chronic Pain I'm living with now . It's sure no fun living like this - so hopefully we'll both get a second chance on life after this is all over... ya think? Take care and email me if you ever need company. I'm always here. Pat B

Heya Atonio, Just wanted to welcome ya to the Missouri Board. Congrats on yoru WLS date, mine is Nov. 14 with Dr. Hornbostel. Keep posting and you'll see this board is one close family, we share with each other and support one another so much.
