POUNDS LOST SO FOR !!!!!!

I had my follow up with Dr. H. today. I had my sugery 35 days ago and as of today I have lost 41 POUNDS YES ~ YES ~ YES Thank You Lord Jesus! I can't believe how the weight just seems to fall off, I have tried so many times to lose, only to gain back more! I keep thinking I'll wake up from this dream! This journey has not been without it's trials,having to face the fact that 53 years of eating habits change in a split second, and it's hard sometimes for your mind to keep up and you still want things that you can't have but hopefully it will keep getting easier as time goes on. I still crave a diet coke, but it's getting better. Dr. H. says I can start eating fish, chicken and cooked fruits and vegetables now, and I don't have to puree my food!!! I have to chew ~ chew ~ chew !!!! I don't have to crush my meds anymore !!! Starting October 17th I can start trying all kinds of food to see what I can tolerate!!! I want a salad so bad I can taste it but will have to wait a few more days!! I got a B12 shot today and a scrip for injections to take at home. Otherwise everything is great and Marge and Dr. H. says I'm doing fanstastic. Talk to you later. Brenda

that is wonderful on the weight loss Brenda. You are losing faster than I but I ask Dr. H. if my age would have anything to do with it and he said Yes. So maybe that is why im not losing as fast too. But way to go girl Im proud of you. Wish we could have spent more time together yesterday but know that you all needed to get back home. That drive is a long one isnt it? When do you go back to Sedalia. I have to go on the 19th of Dec. Would have liked to made it after Christmas but oh well. Great work other than the weight loss your visit went about like mine . lol Love Jan
