We will be leaving for Sedalia this morning for my one month check up .Sure wi**** wasn't so far to drive, not looking forward to that at all. But do have some questions for Dr. Hornbostel. My stomach feels better now that I have been on Prevacid . It doesn't hurt to drink water now. For the last two days I have been getting in my 90 grams of protein by drinking 2 shakes a day and then for supper having a half cup of refried beans with cheese on them . Of course that will get old soon too. We were gone most of the day yesterday and Joe was hungry so we stopped at a Mexican rest and I ate Joes refried beans. I wondered how well I would handle not being able to eat some of my favorite foods. But wasn't any different than eating at home to me. It doesn't bother me about people eating foods in front of me. I don't want it so no problem. I think it bothers others more than it does me. The weather says we are going to get more rain today and tomorrow , Sure hope so we still need lots more . I stopped at the Red Roof Mall in Branson and bought myself a new pair of New Balance running shoes yesterday. They are so light and have shock absorbers in them lol. Now I can run, Well that is what the girl said ! LOL Yeah right. Sheila: good to see you posting. Yes the pool will be great next year. Lol since I worked so hard to sit it up and then never used it this year. I know I have gotten past the not losing anything this week . Since I lost inches it is ok with me. Melissa: I don't know if it is a sign of cold winter or not but it sure is being an early fall isn't it. Im sure we will have a couple of weeks of really warm weather again we usually do. LOL on the bed warmer lol Guess that would work tho , right? Yummy that homemade stew sure sounds good. I bet you are a good cook too aren't you? We are getting a lot of new people aren't we. It is hard to keep up with all of them isn't it? Barbara: Isn't it great that you can go shopping now with out using those little carts. Yesterday we stopped at Lowe's and I walked from the parking lot and around in the store , without even a push cart to lean on looking for some wood chisels. Didn't realize it until we got them and went back out to the car and said to Joe did you noticed I didn't have a cart to lean on the whole time I was in there? Neat huh? Im with you on your heart being Missouri. I love all the changes of seasons. I know it really gets aggravating in the heat of summer when it is 100 degrees and so humid that you cant breath , or in Feb and things are dull and cold and nasty but then comes spring and it is so beautiful that it takes your breath away. With all of the renewing of life and the beauty that God put here. Or wonderful crisp fall with its nippy mornings and the smells of leaves or someone lighting up their fireplace for the first time. Nothing like all of those wonderful sights and sounds and smells is there? Each one makes you realize how close God is. Lana: I know you are so excited about seeing your daughter and grandson. Im excited for you too. I hope all goes well for her and him and that the ex boyfriend doesn't cause any problems. I know you will be busy this week end spoiling the youngun. Have loads of fun. Debbie: Sorry didn't mean to make you cry sweetie. I am so extremely happy that God took care of the problem with the mother in law at the funeral. He can do all things cant he? LOL Yeah I think a few of us probably mentioned your back pain to the Lord and so glad he took that away for you. LOL Your hubbys grandmother sounds like she was a really *****y neat old lady. When I worked as a nurse in nursing homes I loved those type of patients. Made the day fun and enjoyable. Always funny and cute. Loved the ***** Others saw stubbornness and meanness but I loved it. Colette: Yea! Your back again. So glad you are home . I saw your post about getting home and having computer problems. Seems like so many people have been having computer problems too. There have been lots of new people getting dates and stuff while you have been gone. But you will catch up soon on all the posts. I know after my surgery it took a couple of days to read everything and you have been gone a lot longer . So will take you awhile wont it. Hope the trip was all you wanted it to be. But I bet you are glad to be back home arent you? I love visiting but I am always glad to get back too. Anyway welcome home glad you are back . Think I will go back to bed for awhile so I will be more rested for the trip to Sedalia today. We don't need to leave until around 9 I think since my appointment is at 1 that will leave plenty of time for stops and walks around the truck each time we stop. Neither one of us can ride far. Altho I am getting to where it doesn't hurt nearly as bad as it did. Will let you all know how much difference there is between my scales and Dr. H's tomorrow. Hope not a lot. Oh well it doesn't really matter since I know I am losing and have lost so many inches that the weight has to be coming off somehow. Everyone have a great day will see you tomorrow. LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS JAN

Good Morning Jan and Everyone else Wow what a beautiful day again today. But I guess every day God gives us is a beautiful day. It seems God has been so good to most all of us on this board. I am so happy for all of you that have gotten dates, and for those of you still waiting just remember in God's time not ours. God is so awesome and so loving and giving it is wonderful to have a relationship with him. I pray for each and every one of you every day. Jan my weight lose as really slowed down a lot but I am just going to keep pushing on and pray that it picks back up really soon. Well I hope you all have a wonderful day. Take care of yourselves and your loved ones and don't ever forget to tell those you love that you love them. It's always nice to hear someone cares and you never know when they will be called home and you don't want to wish you had told them just one more time for the rest of your life. May God Keep and Bless Each and Every One of You and Your Loved Ones Too. Sky

Good Morning Everyone: Yea!!! It looks like were going to be getting some rain today. We sure could use some good rain on all our plants and trees. I was watching the news and they were talking about fall folage. That we might not get the beatiful colors this year on the trees due to the lack of rain fall this year. That's my fav part of the season. Well I am going to be hanging out at the house today. DH and his friend are out getting wood. For some project that DH's friend is working on when he is in town. Did anyone watch The Biggest Loser last night on TV??? They had 50 contestants (1 from every state) and only 14 were picked to stay at the farm (or whatever it is called). Bob is one of the trainers and he picked a guy named Marty that is from non other then our very own Kansas City, MO. Yea!!!!! I thought that was so kewl. So now he is who I am rooting for and in 1 week he had the 2nd highest weight loss of 20lbs!!! Can you tell I like the show??? The trainer isnt too bad to look at either. lol Jan & Brenda We look foward to seeing what the Dr. has to say and we pray you both have a safe trip there and home. I hope you all have a blessed day. Oh yea a WOW moment for me I stepped on the scale yesterday and it is official. From October 2005 until 9-20-06 I have lost a total of 170lbs!!!! I love you all Melissa

Hey, Jan, I hope you and Brenda are both happy with your weigh-in today. I see you got some run faster- jump higher shoes. That's the only kind I buy. Some times I wish that I lived closer to Branson but I would probably have cabinets & closets full of stuff I don't need. I think I could become a chronic shopper. Do they have a 12 step program, like Shoppers Anonymous? Anyway, have a safe trip! Huera

Hello to all, hope jan and brenda have a safe trip to Sedalia. Just got home from work a short time ago. thought I would post before I make supper. Getting rested up and enjoying the cool weather we are having. Wish I was leaving to live in Arizona for the winter. It was beautiful the year we did it for 6 months. No snow and ice to contend with and nice warm weather all winter. Glad to hear that everyone is losing weight at a great clip. I am 20 pounds within goal and it is hard to get it to budge. But I am thankful for the great amount I have lost. And I will just keep on doing and eating the correct things. Andrew you are doing a great job too. Keep it up. Congrats to everyone else too. Sher it wont be long, and Sky, you are starting to look like a young girl and beautiful too. I bet you are getting compliments also. Take care everyone. Colette
