It's finally going to happen!

Hi to all, My doc's office called just 18 days after my visit and I'm approved by Medicare and Missouri Medicaid will pick up the balance left over!! My surgery date is 12-04-06. My original date was 05-09-05, however due to some health issues at the time, we had to wait. Dr. H says that it's actually a good thing because there have been so many improvements to the gastric by-pass! I need all of the support I can get because I have a small family and just a few friends (my own doing, I felt like who would want to be friends with someone who looked like me?). I have had open heart surgery a little over 6 years ago, so I'm a little apprehensive, but trust that the good Lord put Dr. H in my life for a reason and that's to improve my health and my quality of life. So with this in mind, I'm ready. Good luck to those of you who are still waiting! It's worth it, just ask anyone who's down 100+ lbs!! God Bless Phyllis
