Looking for wls friendly pcp.

I am in need of a wls friendly pcp that also takes medicaid. We live in the Kansas City area. For some reason I am having a difficult time finding someone. Please help if you can! Thanks! Janet in KC

I know of someone who had their surgery in KC with a Dr Ali. I dont know if he still does surgery but that is somewhere to start. Look under the surgeon site on obesity help and you can see who accepts medicaid. It is pretty limited though as Medicaid does not pay the docs much. Good luck.

hi janet, i was reading your post and just wanted to let u i am going to a dr scott in columbia, missouri at the university. they take medicaid. and a dr. hornsbostel in sedalia, missouri. dr. scott's number is 573-882-5673. dr. hornbostel 660-827-0423 i hope this helps. patty
