Sunday Morning Whats Happening:

We are suppose to start getting rain today. I really hope so we need it lots of it. The lake is low , the rivers and creeks are really low. Hopefully the weather will be a nice wet one for awhile. Well I was just wondering where some of the people are. Todd: what happened? You were here and now your gone. Linda: how is the job going? Do you like working again? Sherr: how is the pre op diet going? Benny: what happened guy ? You were suppose to be at the last support meeting on the 11th you didn't show. Colette: are you home yet? We miss you. Lea: wish you would come back and post more. Tracey: how is the gall bladder? Made an appointment to get it out yet? I know there are more that I have forgotten. Please forgive me if I have forgotten you. You just need to come back so we will remember you. Melissa: wow you are really turning into a social butterfly aren't you. That is great. I will be glad when my knees and hips decide to catch up with my other parts lol Sounds like you have a really fun week end planned. Brenda!!! Hey girl I have had more emails from people about you and where you are than anyone around. They all want to know what happened to you.? Did you get mad? Are you sick? I know what you mean about protein and water. It is really hard to get it all in still. I have lost 31 pounds too and no I cant look at myself and see a difference. I can tell by the clothes Im wearing that I have to be smaller but I still see rolls and fat and pouches of blubber. Email me and let me know what time your appointment is on the 21st. Mine is at 1:15 is yours earlier or later? Glad you posted we have been missing you a lot David like I said if you would have told me you were coming to Cedarcreek I would have met you at the store and bought you a ice water or something lol. I hope the lady down here that bought your puppy will enjoy it.. So now you are down to one huh. That is amazing when you had so many. Kelli: good to see you girl. Yes I have to agree about Dr. De La Torre being an excellent Doc. My sister is using him and she has been checking him out online and such. Lana you havent been on in a day or two. Has your daughter moved to Missouri yet? Huera: you know I was wondering the other day about clothes and knowing that someone here is surely bound to have some things that others need. I gave all of my 22s to another girl that is having surgery this next week. But will have a lot of 22 summer clothes before long to give away. So if anyone thinks they might be into 22s next summer let me know. Mostly are capris and blouses. Not any dressy things. I am needing to find some 18s for awhile lol Craig: Hi there Buddy! My oh my how wonderful that you are fitting into things so much smaller than what you were wearing . Isn't it fun? One of Jeff's shirts? WOW! Thanks for praying for Joe. He has lots of problems all the time . He will go along really well for about a month and then all of a sudden his body will just give out on him. I was really hoping that the injections he has had in his back would help him with at least that pain and maybe they will , this seems to be muscle spasms instead of the back pain itself. Melissa I and Im sure everyone will be praying for you. It sounds like some sort of hormone problem. With all the changes of moods and all. Will pray that this has a good resolve and you get to feeling better soon. I too have read that some people have a time like that . I think I even read that it is because of the fact that fat hold hormones and when it is released you get a flood of them in your system. Gooood Sunday Morning Ya'll, Its so nice out right now, the birds chirping and all, we have a birds nest in one of the bushes in front of our apt. It's cloudy so hopefully we'll get the rain too like they said we would. It's awful dry here, all the creeks are so low here too. I get so excited reading about all you post ops seeing how well things are going. I just cant wait to get on that side of the losers bench. Already a month has gone by since I got my surgery date , Sept is half over and then Oct. woot woot!! Nov. will be here before I know it. For those of you that get down about things, esp weightloss things, be sure to come read the boards here. You'll get so uplifted and back in the clouds where ya belong. I been down a few days myself, I came on this morning and read Craigs post and it seem to hit me like a ton bricks and woke me up outta my slumber, Thanks Craig!!!! What a blessing from God he is. Today is breakfast sunday at church but im NOT NOT going to breakfast, sheesh last month I did that they had biscuits and gravy and I went and gained a couple pounds, yikes thats not gonna happen again. Jan you too, thank you so much for all the encouraging words you give us here on the board. You dont know how much your words mean to me and all of us here. Your such a blessing from God to be so faithful everyday!! I really do pray one day this spring or something we can all get together some how for a picnic or something. I'd so be willing to drive a bit to meet up with ya'll!! Well Im gonna go get things done before Church. Good morning everyone. It rained here overnight -- great lightning storm, and high today is to be low 70's, although it is very dreary looking right now. I hope it rains all day across the state -- we need it! I'm headed to church in a few minutes but thought I'd check in. Things are going great with me -- I go back to the office tomorrow. Being at home has been nice -- the first week after surgery I worked 1/2 days at home, and last week I worked 6 - 8 hours per day at home. Biggest thing will be planning ahead as to what to take for lunch. I have small fridge in my office, and there is also a communal microwave. Thought I'd stop by store today and get a few "staples" to put in work fridge. Hope everyone has a great day! Huera: I'm sending you an email!

Hello just a quick note to my earthly angel Ms.Jan....I said a prayer for Joe last night and this morning...I have to go to a funeral today..Leta is coming after me..I better get going....I hope you're doing ok..I think about you and your garden....might be time for you to get ready for next spring huh?.....Hugs and God Bless....Craig Lee PS. Well Jan we got the rain. It started raining in church today and I could barely see to drive home. We need the rain though, my little garden is still making tomatoes and peppers and the rain will help. Mellisa your hormones do change after surgery I even had strange feeling and I think it was the hormones and your body just going through so many changes so fast. For the newbies looking into surgery it really changes your life. I think I would be dead if not for my wls as I could not have handled all the problems so well being morbidly obese. My third year rebirthday is coming up on Oct 1. I guess I need to do something to celebrate. I felt well enough yesterday to drive to Gainsville to see a puppy then we went to two shows here in Branson. I saw Gary Lewis and the Playboys at Dick Clarks new theatre and saw Pierce Arrow last night. Both were great shows. I had more energy than my wife yesterday and that is a wonder as I was so puny in July. God sure works miracles. I even taught Sunday School the last two weeks.

Good Afternoon, It is a dreary day here, looks like it will rain for sure, and that's a good thing. I went to to OH Clothing Exchange and there is nothing there but a few pairs of jeans. I thought sure they would have some nice stuff, special occasion dresses, etc. Since the Missouri board is so active, maybe we could start something. I'm not sure how to go about it. Maybe just put people in touch with one another and let them work out details. I wouldn't be so worried about clothes but my God-daughter wants her picture taken with her God-parents!!! Needless to say, I hate having my pic taken now anyway, most especially if I'm not dressed appropriately.!! The only dress I own that fits is denim, not a good choice. At least I think it still fits. Something to think about. Huera
