~Im back-had my consult in Columbia~

Hello MO board- I had my consult in Columbia with Dr. Fearing and I am now in the pre-test stages, trying to get that all done and hopefully get my surgery the middle of October! I loved her as a surgeon and a person, she was very nice and knowledgable, and that meant a lot to me. She spent a lot of time with me in the consult and didnt make me feel like I was keeping her from anything...what a refreshing change! I have been reading other posts to the MO board, and I must say, I sure miss talking or seeing some of the regulars, who are such an inspiration to pre-oppers like myself. I hope everyone is doing okay and that post op is going well!!!! To all the newcomers, welcome and hope if you need anything, you will post so we will know it. I have asked for help more than once and I have to tell you, I have met some of my very best friends because of this site and the connection that we all share. Please take a moment to say a prayer for Sherr, her surgery is the 29th of this month. I will not be able to be there for her surgery (was hoping to) but I will be up in Columbia on the 3rd and will be seeing her then. If anyone else will be up there on the 3rd, please send an email and let me know-would love to meet ya. well, my hubby got one of the two computers up and running, so I should be here more often now, I hope. Janet So glad to see you back on the boards. We sure do miss you when your gone. I think all of Dr. Scotts staff & doctors are great. And I know that means alot when they take the time to sit down and talk with you and not just walk into the room and run out. I wont be back in Columbia until around the 25th of Oct. It seem like I keep missing Sherr when she is up there. lol Best of wishes getting all your pre-op done. You can do it!!! Melissa
