SURGERY SEPT. 20TH WOW !

After a year of reading and reading profiles - - usually twice a day - - lots of prayer - - and lots of working with insurance companies etc. my surgery date is finally here. I went to hospital today (Kansas University Med Center in Kansas City, KS) for my pre-op testing and one last visit with the surgeon. I will have an open RNY. He is going to bypass 150 cm's Is that distal or proximal? Anybody know? I asked him how much he was going to bypass but didn't ask the name. So much information and instructions guess I just couldn't remember everything. Anyway - - lift up prayers for me please. Hope to be around here alot afterward with questions. Thanks all !!!

Nana K, That is so awesome. I lived in Union Star for the first 37 years of my life and have many friends and relatives in St. Joseph. Know your area well. Also, my family has had positive experiences with KU Med Ctr so you're in good hands. My dad's life was saved there more than once. Glad you're almost on your way. My prayers will be with you on the 20th. Lana
