TUESDAY WHATS HAPPENING

Well went to the meeting last night in Springfield. The only ones there that I knew were Lana, Marilyn , Wayne and Cathy. None of the regulars were there. Seemed sort of sad. Benny had told us he would be there but he wasn't .anyway Lana and I decided that we wouldn't go to Panera Bread since it would just be me and her and went on home. Lol. They had some speakers on massage and gave out discount cards for their services. They also gave chair massages. Felt pretty good. We had a nice rain yesterday morning wish we could have had a lot more. I guess that is selfish but we really need it. I know I don't have many flowers left but we really need the rain anyway. Well I am 4 weeks out from surgery and have lost 30 pounds and now wearing size 18s. I really am feeling good. I hope this little thing that I have wrong is nothing more than an irritation and not a full blown ulcer. But we will see. Im not too worried about it right now. I see Dr. H on the 21st and is Im still having trouble then we will talk about a scope or something I would imagine. Sky: your walks sound so pretty and I can just see all the animals you run across. I got a scare yesterday when I went out for a late evening walk. There was a huge groundhog out by the road. Have you ever seen those things up close. He was so big I didn't really know they got that big. Let us know what Dr. H says about your hernias. You might feel a lot better the sooner you get those out you know. Debbie: sorry you are feeling under the weather. You don't think it could be allergy related do you? Most people if not allergic to stuff any other time get allergies this time of year. The ragweed and dust are quite a combination. Will pray that you get to feeling better soon. Sherr: you sure are having to do the test aren't you. But wont be long before you are able to have surgery. Then watch out world . Sherr will be on the loose. Lol Hey tell Lucky she could post once in awhile. We love hearing from her. Andrew: glad that your father in law is doing better. LOL I can just see him racing up and down the hallways in his w/c . You are going to be really busy moving and getting out into the country is so much better than living in town or it is to me. I don't like towns of any size lol. Next year when it gets time to make a garden you will be ready with your slim self. And then you may not have time since you will be going to school lol Lots of plans and ideas that is good. That is what keeps us going. Melissa: the number was BR4-4469. Lol was good to talk to you last night for a little while I will call you again today and we can finish our conversation. There weren't many there last night that is for sure. Was a bunch of new people that I have never seen . Wayne was there tho. He had just got off work and came after work. So did you pcp take you off the liptor? That will probably help you lose even more weight . The more meds you get off of the better. David : love the picture of your cute puppies. If I was in the market for a little one I would be emailing you for sure. Lol Good to finally put a face to the name. Tracey: hey thanks for warning us about another 15 year old on the road. Lol The poor mothers heart it is hard to bear letting them go in a car the first few times by themselves isn't it. I agree about all the 9-11 stuff. It really gets almost too much after awhile doesn't it. Hope your pain from the gall bladder is better . You are going to have to break down and go have surgery done girl. We will put you on the prayer list . Barbara: your husband must be kin to my husband. They sure can be flirts when they want to cant they? I got on a size 18 pair of pants and shirt tonight and he was acting like I was Miss America. Lol Let us know what Dr. H tells you tomorrow. Hope all is going well for you. Well guess I will close this up for today and get on with things. Got to get in my walk and my first protein shake of the day. Then on to do other things. I have several bushes to move in the next few days. Some of them I have to wait until they go dormant but some I can move now. Yesterday was my sons birthday and also my nieces birthday. Good morning Jan Just popped in to say Hello this morning, you and I have so mu*****ommon it is scary sometimes . I had a son that died on Sept. 11, 1972 he would have been 35 years old on Sept 6, this year, he was 1 year and 5 days old when he passed away, also my grandfather's BD is on the 11th, so handling the 11th is a mixture of emotions but over the years I've learned to cope with so many things, so a late happy BD to your son. Yes, husbands have a way of bringing out those ear to ear smiles don't they? I'm excited about my visit today because I'll learn how much I've actually lost , I am able to wear some things but still haven't tried many of my clothes on and really glad I didn't give them all away like I started to. Jan and all, It was good to see you, Jan, at the meeting. Guys she looks more beautiful than ever. Her little face is getting so slim and she was freezing, told her it was her skinny self now. It was good to see Wayne in person, he looks great too. My friend Allan was there and he was so glad to meet Wayne. I had been hoping they could connect. Allan is about the same weight Wayne was when he started his journey. I missed seeing everyone but I know there are lots of claims on all our time and we have to make choices. It's easy for me, on my way home from work, but I know many of you have long drives to get to Springfield. Just know that you were missed. Yesterday was my first day back from vacation so obviously had lots to get caught up with. Today has been more manageable. And I have a class at New Images in a few minutes so I'd better get going. Hi Jan, Thank you so much for the email - I have honestly LOOKED for Missouri people on the message boards and it said there was no group in Missouri ! I knew that had to be wrong... I went to the seminar in Sedaila on 9-5-06. I was so invigorated afterward I knew what I had to do. I emailed Dena the next day with my cards and she emailed me back and told me to call in for an appt for a consultation which is way off on Dec 6th - that feels like a lifefime away but I know it's just around the cornor. Anyway it will give me enough time to get all my medical records together. My major problem is I weight too much now. I wasn't always this way but I broke my back and after 4 major surgeries lots of rods and screws I'm finally put back together again (they say) only I can't excercise so only sarvation will help me. It's scary thinking about not being Able to eat - I don't think I'd mind that much, as long as I don't feel hungry all the time like now. it's the feeling of deprivation that makes one cranky. Is it that way with you? Do you feel hungry all the time? Well I suppose that's enough questions for now - Again thanks for offering to help with my silly questions. I sure do appreciate it.

Hi Jan, Yes, I found Food 4 Less and got 2 cans of that protein powder. One is Rocky Road and the other is French Vanilla which I figured I can mix flavors in like almond or fruit if I get tired of it. How many servings a day do you drink? I'm pretty sore this morning after my "floor massage" last night. That is one thing I have always dreaded. As a matter of fact, at my last job a friend and I had a pact that if one of us ever fell, don't let anyone try to pick us up. Thank god I didn't know those peolple and will probably never see most of them again. One thing I thought about was that most of those could sympathize with me or at least imagine how I felt. Well I guess I shouldn't say good morning as it is far from morning now. Anyway I went and saw Dr. H today and he said I am doing great. And I don't have to go back for 4 months. Unless I start to have problems. So that made me very happy that I don't have to have any more surgeries for now anyway. LOL Hope every one is doing good. You all take care and have a great day. Hey Sky I was at Dr. H. too today what time was your appointment? Mine was at 1:15 PM but I got there early and it wasn't long before they called me in. As we were going down the highway home my DH said I think I saw one of the women that was at the hospital and she has real long hair, was that you?
