No Citrus?

How come, you are not suppose to have citrus juice the first couple of weeks after rny surgery? Just woundering.

from what I have picked up, its because your stomach is so small that they don't want to take any chances of you having anything like citrus that will eat away at the lining of your new pouch and cause you to end up with an ulcer. My surgeon had us water down our juices after surgery because of this.
