FRIDAY WHATS HAPPENING
Praise God. Craig is home and doing well. Melissa is home and well. God is good.
I had a really good day yesterday. I took my walk early in the morning came back and did some gardening. Fixed breakfast for Joe and drank my protein shake . Have been getting in more ad more water. Believe me that is the one thing that you need more than anything. If you think you might need to skimp on something it certainly isn'****er.
Yesterday afternoon I took another walk around the block with hubby.
Tomorrow will be a busy day. I have to go to town to buy a few things . We are having company this week end. A lady that I met on the over 50 board is coming for a visit. We met in Mt Home earlier this year and really hit it off well.
She is still pre op but will have her surgery in Oct.
Melissa: so glad to see you back on the board. Im sorry that you will have to wait until Nov for surgery. They cant get you in earlier? That is too bad. Are you thinking about going somewhere else? Just don't let it strangulate. That is very dangerous
What are you wanting to study in school? I think that is very good that you are going to go back to school. Proud of you girl.
Lucky: hey good to hear from you. Yeah I was off line for 3 days and it took forever to catch up on things.
Yea! On your weight loss and measurements. Yeah the abdomen on me was a big one since that is where I stored a lot of my weight anyway.
Glad that you are getting to finally go home. I know you are anxious to be there too. Will be good to get back to routine.
Sky: take it easy honey. Those arthritic bones will only take so much stress and then they hurt even more.
I know that if I push myself past the pain part too far then I wont be able to more my knees at all for several days. I guess I am going to have to have my doctor to refer me to an ortho man and see how bad they really are. They feel so very bad to me .
Brenda: hey I am with you on the pureed foods . I am more than sick of it. I did do a soft scrambled egg today and it was pretty good except that it is almost pureed too. Lol
I know what you mean about the nursing home. That is where I always worked as a nurse . And yeah they sure get their share of that stuff don't they?
Debbie; Im sure having your dogs for breeding it isn't easy. I have always thought golden retrievers are a beautiful dog. I think if I were going to breed dogs it would be little ones tho. Maybe easier to handle. But don't know about that.
Did the lady take the little lhasa Apso ? I think those are a really cute doggy.
Yes I did notice the fish tank in Dr. Hs. Office. He has some beautiful ones in there too.
That was really sweet of your husband to get you a new waterproof game. Lol
I know what you mean about an abusive childhood . I was there too. Not with my parents but someone else. I have learned to deal with it tho and have put it away and will let God take care of it .
David. First off congratulations on selling most of the puppies and for the new additions to your home. Lol. Glad you are doing so well too. Keep up the good work.
Another beautiful day to be today. The weather forecast has the same type of weather predicted for the next 7 days anyway. Maybe fall really has arrived. If this past year is any indication of performance we will have some 100 degree weather in November. Lol Who knows what we are going to have weather wise.
It is sort of like a lot of other things in our lives that are unpredictable . But if we have Jesus in our lives we don't need to know what the future holds only that He knows and that is enough.
If you trust and believe in Him then you have all the assurance that you need for tomorrow.
LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS

Goooooood Morrrrrning Missouri!!
My goodness it really looks like everyone has had a busier then busy week. Thank the Lord for weekends, even tho to me, the weekdays and weekends all run together. I guess since I'm on disability its like one big weeekend lol
Jan I am just in awe of how well you and Brenda and Craig and all the other new losers are doing. I guess for so long I was listening to the wrong people. Sure I know things can go wrong, but I'm sure finding out the the majority of people that have things go wrong it's because they dont follow the instructions of the doctor.
Melissa I'll sure be praying for ya that you dont have so much pain until you have your surgery. My brother that had gastric bypass a couple years ago had to have hernia surgery last year, he told me since his surgery he's sooo much better but it did take him a lil time to recover. God is on your side gurl!!
Craig its soo good to see you post again and know that your doing good, woohoo God is so gooood!!! The weight loss you've had is so awesome bud, keep up the good work!! Just remember to wear your belt so you dont moon no one Bless ya bud!!
Brenda I read where you love chihuahuas, me too me too lol I have a chihuahua now, she's going on 12 yrs old, her name is Mecko. She's my pride and joy. She's a black and brown chihuahua with short hair. We got her from spca, she someone had turned her in there that did not want her, she actually had her papers and all, we've had her 8 yrs now. Before her we had a tan short hair chihuahua that we raise from a pup. we got at 4 weeks old cuz her momma died nursing them. I had to feed her with a lil doll bottle, I still miss her. We had her nearly 10 yrs before she got cancer and died. I absolutely love chihuahua's tho, they are so adorable and so much fun.
Well I gotta get a move on and get some things done. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.
God Bless Ya's
Andrew
Good Brrrrr Morning:
Bbbbbbbrrrrrrrr it is cold outside. It is 59 degrees here in Joplin. My pool has definatley got to come down this weekend. I think my swimming days has just come to an end. DH was working in his garage last night and I asked him to bring in my storage box of winter clothes. Let me tell you I USE to be the WORLD hottest person. In the dead of winter I would be running around in shorts and a t-shirt. Snow on ground and all. Not anymore I freeze/chill so easyly now. It is a very different feeling from being so hot having to live in the A/C to breath. To waking up to no A/C, windows wide open, throwing the covers over and the minutes your feet hit the floor you wanna jump right back into bed under the covers again. lol
Taken DH to his PCP appt. Then to hopefully pick up his foot brace. Some errands then home to straighten house. And get my clothes in the closet. I can definatley see myself in pants and a coat this winter. Maybe even sooner. ha ha ha
I hope you all have a great day.
Love ya
Melissa

Man, have I missed you and the crew!!! Had a death in the family this week...my aunt Gerry.....she was the "mom figure" to my dad growing up, so seeing my dad suffer was just terrible for me...didn't think I'd be good company, so I've been chillin' at home and not posting....
I am trying so hard with the protein shakes, (((I actually don't start my 2 weeks until NEXT Friday, but I thought I'd try....)))) and I am perplexed....some of the meds I take say, Must take w/ food, and the shakes are still not enough to stop being really sick at my stomach....I don't know what to do next week, when it's THE REAL 2 WEEK SHAKE TIME....
Anyone else have this problem?
I am off to Columbia Sunday, with sleep study & cpap sunday night, then 3 appointments Monday, and leave for home Tuesday morning....
9/29th is a definite now, even if the 2nd sleep study is wack...I have to bring my sleep machine w/ me to the hospital for surgery on the 29th, but I have the surgery tentatively slated for 10:30 a.m. but she said that could get changed around, but definitely on the 29th!!
WOOT WOOT!

Good Morning Everyone,
Hey Jan, I know I said I wasn't going to weigh BUT................ I just had to!!!
I have already gave away a lot of clothes and feel smaller so I just had to get on the
scales!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If my scales are close to Doc's office scales {which I will check when I go back}
I HAVE LOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
~~ 31 POUNDS ~~ in 22 DAYS ~~
I just couldn't be happier
Andrew I do love chiuhauha's, couldn't tell from my post could you!
Melissa how much weight have you lost so for?
You might not have any winter clothes that fit anymore!!
{That's a good thing}!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm glad to be alive today!!
We need to praise the good Lord every minute of every day for what he gives us
without being deserving of it, that folks is "AMAZING GRACE"!!!!!
Brenda
Good Morning Everyone! I pray that God is blessing each and everyone of you! Answering prayers, healing bodies, minds, hearts and souls! Without Him, we are nothing! With Him, we can do all things!
Yes Jan....you have to deal with the pain of abuse! I gave it to the Lord at the altar a long time ago and haven't picked it back up and WON'T!
Yes, the Lady did take Sassy (the Lhasa Apso)....she is a great dog! Her grooming really took a toll on me... my back felt like it was breaking whenever I had to groom her!
My hubby said the same thing...that if, later on, I get back into breeding dogs...it should be little ones. He likes pugs, I think their cute but the way they breath annoys me...lol
So did you play with the rainbow fish at Dr. H's or act normal?.....lol What can I say, I gotta be me!
I have been feeling a little rough that last few days. I think I may of pushed myself to hard last week with the concerts and all. The swelling in my feet won't go away, even with the lasix...so I'm trying to keep from sitting here to long, that makes them worse!
Yes, the waterproof game is fun but slippery with wet hands....lol
Melissa...I'm sorry you are having to wait for your surgery. I pray that that God eases your pain.
Craig...I'm glad your back home and safe! Praise God!! I bet it feels good to have THAT pain over with.
Looks like everyone is outside enjoying the weather! Awesome! We need to be out there, enjoying it while we can. God Bless everyone and your families...Deb
