Anyone out there with a lap band?

Hi-I'm getting my lap-band in Columbia with Dr. Pitt on Wednesday! I'm a little nervous and wondered how others were doing. Mainly, I'll be glad to get off this horrible jailhouse diet! Good luck to you all!

I love my band, I have been post op for alittle over 6 weeks and have lost 30 lbs, I feel in control of my relationship with food for the first time in my life! and the other day I had a picture taken where I was able to see my knck for the first time in YEARS. all of my friends and family have commented on how they see me slimming down and my clothes fit me so well. I have lost two bra sizes already but hey I won't miss those over rip melons anyway. Being nervouse about the surgery is normal. good luck to you and a speedy recovery!
