Hi Everyone
Hello to all on the Missouri Board. I would like to introduce myself here. I am a 41 year old, soon to be 42, single mom to two children. My son is 19 years old, and my daughter will be 12 next month. I considered WLS a few years ago, but was too scared of it, so I did not pursue it. Instead, I of course tried other diets, again! I did loose 80 lbs, but have gained back 100 lbs. I have since found this web site, and have been educating myself the last 2 months. I have also started the steps that I need to take to have the WLS. I have admitted to myself, that this will be the only way that I will be able to loose and maintain weightloss. I have been overweight since I was 11 years old, always bigger than my classmates. I was an identical twin, and she was the same way, till she died at the age of 18 of a heart arrythmia. That was more than 20 years ago, and we were both well above 200 lbs then. I am now the heaviest I have ever been in my whole life at 330 lbs. This is the only hope that I have. There are so many things that I want to do with my daughter, and to do them I must be much much much smaller. We do want to go on an equestrian vaction together, hopefully to Australia, but that will require me to be under 190 lbs. Here I am blathering on, sorry! I just wanted to say hello to my fellow Missourians. Anyone on here from the St. Louis, St. Charles County, Warren County, on this board? I sure would like to make friends with people in the area, who are going thru this too!

Diane, first off welcome to the board we are so glad to have you and if there is any questions we can answer or help you with just ask. Im not from your area but i iknow there as some on here that are. I live in S. w. Mo. almost to the Ark line. close to Branson.
