POST OP & Own a Magic Bullet? CHime in for me :)
I am pre-op and have bought a magic bullet 5 second blender (((if you haven't heard of it, google it, it's incredible))))
I am wondering if anyone POST OP has used it to make their protein drinks?
I have been experiementing, but want to know how someone's pouch does with the drinks....
The magic bullet (((in case you don't know)))) is like a mini blender, with single serving cups that fit on TOP of the blender mechanism, so once you've blended whatever, you drink out of the "top container" ....make sense?
ANYWAY, today, I put 4 small ice cubes, milk an instant breakfast and some sugar free white chocolate syrup....it is still liquid, with tiny little like 1/3 the size of a grain of rice ice pieces in it......so it makes it "thicker" than just powder with milk....
BUT I want to know HOW THE NEW TUMMY likes stuff like that....
THIS IS NOT A SMOOTHIE....that I know it toooo thick....this is more frothy....
any thoughts?
THANK YOU! SHERR
Sherr,
I don't have that kind of blender but I do have a honkin heavy duty stainless steel GE blender.
I put my protein powder, milk and about a handful of ice and then blend and it's great, I love it that way.
I just have to sip it slowly or sometimes I put a little more ice and it makes it almost like eating a frothy ice cream and I use a spoon.

I love my magic bullet!
I don't put ice into my protein drinks though. But I'm 5 months out too.
But I do use a packet of low carb carnation breakfast drink and Nectar Cappucinio protein powder and low carb low cal Fat free milk (Calorie Countdown) and it blends up great. Sometimes stuff gets stuck on the sides and I need to scrape it down with a spoon and then blend again.
It does great for me.
Good Luck with yours too.
