Wow, what a day!
Thank you ALL for your prayers! I couldn't of made it without them! This has been such an awesome week! I don't really know where to start!
Sunday Morning service! An awesome service it was but my story starts before church. My hubby and I had been having financial problems and as I was getting ready for church I was trying to come up with money for the offering! It was so bad that I started counting out change from my trusty lil change jar. Hubby asked if I was looking for church money and I said yes! He said he had $15 and I had 5 gold coins, I thought that would be an okay amount. When I got to church and started getting my money ready. I reached in to get the coins and found a $5 dollar bill and that was good because I didn't want to make noise dropping my coins in the basket. Anyway, that was the start of God's blessing, the money has been coming in pretty steady ever since! I had puppies I was trying to sell and I had only sold 2 out of the nine I had since Mother's Day ....this week, all the puppies sold and 2 of my grown dogs may very well sell this weekend as well. I'm giving up the dog breeding business, at least for now. I also have a dining table and chairs I'm trying to sell and have been getting lots of calls on them!
Since the puppies were selling, we decided that I could afford my concert tickets and I even got a shirt!...lol
My Dr. H visit went well....everything looks good! I will be having Lap Band unless something changes......and Andrew...I got my notebook!...lol I haven't had time to look it over but I will soon! I just have to wait on Medicare and then the pre-ops and then, the surgery date!
I had an hour from the time I got home from Sedalia and leaving for the concert! It's a good thing because when I got home...there was a note in the door telling me that this couple wanted to buy my littlest female pup (my fav)...she went to a bed and breakfast here in town...she will have a good home and will be spoiled!
The concert was great and casting crowns was my favorite. I like the way he stops and tells testimonies and prays between songs...a great band!...I had to laugh a little...we had a lot of youth go with us which made me think back to the last concert I had been to. It was called "California Jam 2" and Aerosmith was a beginning band....am I telling my age there?...lol
Well All...I'm tired and I have another concert date tomorrow...man, concerts have changed and so have Christian Bands!!! Love & Prayers to All! Have a Safe, Blessed, Wonderful Holiday weekend! Deb

Glads things are going well now. I had eleven puppies to sell and am now down to two. It just takes time when you have a lot of them. The two I have left are awfully cute but ornery like their sire. God has gotten me well enough to work and along with selling puppies we are doing better money wise. Here I was at a point after July 4 I did not think I could work again at all, but I can and am doing fine. God really works through my docs to help me and I sure am glad. I am even going to teach Sunday School class for two weeks starting next week.
David: what kind of pups? I forgot..sorry! We had a litter of 11 yellow labs and sold them and then we had the 9 goldies - she had 11 but 1 was stillborn and 1 died the next day...it died after birth and I brought it back once but momma wouldn't take care of it and by the time I got to it, it was too late, I tried but the little guy was already on his way out.
I am so happy that your life is getting back to where you can do things....it gives me hope that post surgery I will be able to get back into my breeding goldie's or something that I love. I wanted to get into nursing (LPN) but Doc said he didn't think that I should go that route because my back is such a mess.....it's in God's hands! Deb
