Saw Dee this evening....

Hi, All, I went to the hospital and visited with Dee. She looks great and says she's feeling good. She has very little pain and was sitting up in a chair while I was there. Of course, her mouth is very dry, just like all of ours was, and the little swabs help a little bit, but she really is waiting for a drink tomorrow. She wanted me to tell all of you how much she has appreciated the prayers and also all the encouragement she has received over the past few weeks. If all goes well with her leak test tomorrow, then she'll probably be going home on Saturday. I didn't get to see Charles, she had sent him home to finish the moving that had to be done. I just can't tell you how great she looks. You can't even tell she had surgery today. God sure does answer prayers, doesn't He! She came awake in Recovery praising God and thanking him for getting her through the surgery. She is quite a wonderful young lady. I plan on dropping by to see her again tomorrow after I exercise. I told her if she's up and walking the halls, that maybe I'd chase her around the nurses's station! Good night to all or Good morning to the early risers... Linda
