Is this the middle of the week already? Days are flying. Yesterday was such a great day. I turned the air conditioner off and it will probably stay off all week according to the weather report. Can you believe 71 was the high. God is good. My sister came down to spend the day with me and brought her sewing machine and material and made me new curtains for my kitchen. What a sweet sister. She is the baby of the family and I'm the oldest . Some of you have met her and she is always like that. Well the last holiday of summer is this coming week end. What is everyones plans. Joe and I will probably just hang out and hide out from all the week enders that will be down here. Our dog will ******vous wreck by the time they leave. He doesn't do well in noisy and fireworks scare him to death. So I will give him a xanax. Lol Pamela: thanks for the info on dumping. I would image that it was just that my pouch is still tender. Anyway it hurt enough that I don't think I will forget again to not take big drinks. Barbara: So glad you are doing well. I have started walking back and forth in the house back and forth. We have one step up into the kitchen so I am getting a workout there too. It is easier to do it in the house rather on the uneven ground. Hope you are getting along well. Keep on keeping on. Todd: sorry about the u.a. I had a bad one right before surgery that I didn't think I was going to kick in time. But did. Just be sure and take all of your antibiotics completely . Sorry about not winning City Counsel. Yes most of the time we need to look for the other door that is opening sometimes it is hard to find but it will appear . Melissa: most of the time when someone elderly like that is stopped and lic taken they do not give them back. He will have to take the complete test , written and driving and vision .If he fails anyone they wont give the lic back. Or that has been the case with all that I know of. I know it would be really hard to move in with him. Does he live in Joplin too? If you all checked on him a lot would it be absolutely necessary right now ? I will help you what I can by praying. Lana: wow a stopped up ear can feel so funny . Sounds like your daughter is a very patient girl. I know you are anxious to have her move closer. I am looking forward to the meeting on the 11th. So will see you there. And to the meeting after the meeting lol Linda: Your new job sound great. I hope I can find something to do after I lose a lot of weight. I know I can get my nursing lic back and start practicing again but not sure if I want that much stress in my life again. Were is Arrow Rock State park? Have fun and enjoy your selves. Brenda : isn't it great how much better you feel. I cant wait to lose so clothes are getting baggy. My wedding ring just almost wont stay on my finger any more. So glad that you are off a lot of your meds. Wow I wish I could get in 30 minutes at a time of walking. My knees just wont do it . 5 minutes at a time is it. Well will close for today with a thought: Keeping score of old scores and scars, getting even and one upping, always make you less than you are. The person that angers you is the person who controls you. LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS JAN

Jan, Arrow Rock State Park is north of I-70 and northwest of Boonville, MO. There is a town called Arrow Rock, which is an old historic town. This is where the Lyceum Theater is located. The town, Historic Site, and Park are all located together. It is a very nice Park located on a bluff above the Missouri River. It is not too far from where we live and we go there often to get away. The Park is paved on the roads and a great place to walk. It is also not too far from Marshall where my Dad and Mom live. My Dad will bring my Mom out to visit us on Sunday and Mom & I will have baby food (she has Alzheimers) and the men will have grilled steaks. We'll stay there from Friday evening until Monday afternoon. I talked to Sweethoney 30, Dee Simmons, last evening. She is doing well. Really getting excited about tomorrow. While she is in the hospital, her husband, Charles, will be moving them onto the Base at Whiteman Air Force Base. I told her she really lucked out on her surgery date, although her husband may not think so! LOL Dee is such a sweet person. I can hardly wait to meet her. She just seems so happy and up all the time. I'll let everyone know how things are going tomorrow. Please keep her in your prayers. God blessings to you all, Linda

Good Morning Everyone Hope every one is have a good day. So sorry to hear your not feeling well Sherr. I pray you get to feeling better really soon. It has been so beautiful here the last couple of days. Very nice walking weather. Jan I hope your knees get to feeling better really soon, I pray for your knees. It is my neck and head that hurts me so bad when we get storms. It is from an accident that messed my neck up really bad, I live with a headache 24/7 but when storms come in they get a lot worse. Craig I'm so happy for you. I understand about the clothes thing. I used to wear a 5x t-shirt. Well a few years ago the youth group I help out with went to a blaze concert (Christian rock) and they got me a t-shirt size 2x. I thought that was so sweet but there was no way I was going to get my big fat body in that small of a shirt. So my oldest DD has been wearing it off and on. The other day I pulled it out of the dryer and told her I was going to wear it as a joke. She said go-ahead mom try it on. So I did and WOW it fits. So I told her I was taking it back and she said ok that's cool with me. LOL Well I hope every one has a great day and you are all in my prayers. Take care and May God Bless Each and Every One of You and Your Families Too. Sky
