Needing Prayer

I have a friend, her name is Dian, she about my age, maybe a lil older. She attends my church and is an awesome christian and prayer warrior! She is always down at the altar praying for everyone! Whether she knows them or not....no one is a stranger to Dian. I saw her this morning but she was different, she was shuffling along the altar, making her way through the crowd, touching anyone she got near! Praying for them and telling them she loved them! As I was praying at the altar I felt her come near and lay hands on me and pray with me! While I was praying, the Lord wanted me to go and pray with her. I found her in the crowd, she was different, she was bent over as if she had a severe case of belly cramps and kept crying out to the Lord telling Him how much she loved Him and how He was sooo awesome! This was nothing new for Dian, she did this every week but something in her voice was different. As I got to her and hugged her, she let out a slight cry. I did as the Lord asked and I realized that my friend Dian's time on earth was almost over! She has lung cancer, I knew that, what I didn't know is how fast it was moving and it has totally overcome her body! She has faith like I have never seen before and I have been a caregiver to many cancer patients, as they got sick and as they lay dying. She knows she's getting close to going home but she won't give in. She will be doing God's wor****il the minute He takes her home! As I held her and prayed with her, I let her know what a awesome Lady I thought she is and that WHEN God does take her home, her crown will be overflowing with jewels!! I'm asking that you all pray for Dian and her family!! To hold them up, keeping them strong through these hard times! We also ask that God's Will Be Done! Healing Dian or taking her home so she suffers, no more! Complete healing Lord, in the name of Jesus, Complete and total healing!! Deb M.

Thank you Sky! Dian is such a wonderful person, an awesome soul! It is so hard to see her like this but to watch her going around praying for others when she can hardly walk, with the feeling that every bone in her body breaks with each step she takes! She seems to be trying to help save everyone before she goes, not that she was ever slack in her helping others pray for their salvation! The pain in her eyes and voice as she crys out to God praising Him instead of asking help for herself! She is a awesome Christian woman! God must really need a hard worker up there if He is going to take HER home! Everyone has been praying for her, holding her up, for God to heal her, it will be His will when it's done and a wonderful blessing for her, either way! It's just that cancer is soo horrible to watch, it's like the devil himself trying to pull her soul apart from her body but her faith in God is keeping her strong! Deb M

We need to realize God decideds when we go to heaven not us. We can pray but we dont always get the answer we want. It was hard for me this year when I was so sick twice I wanted to die and go to heaven it would be the easy path for me but God had a different idea. I guess he still wants me here to do something. Other people like our head deacon passed away and they were not as sick as I was but I guess God decided it was their time to go to heaven. Another man who had heart sugery when I had my pacemaker put in was doing good for a month then he went to heaven. It was hard for me to understand why I was still here when other people went to heaven, but I guess it was Gods will. My sister told me we go to heaven when God decides it is his decision. The wonderful lady may be ready to go to her reward. Sounds like she will have a crown with many jewels and have a wonderful mansion in heaven. If Gods heals her that is good if she goes to heaven that is good too. It is a win win situation for her. You will miss her is she is gone but remember she will be in a much better place and if God chooses to heal her he still has work for her to do here.
