I went to Sedalia.....

I went to Sedalia this week for my consultation with Dr. H and it went very smooth. He accepted me as a patient and all I need to do now is to have a stress test and wait for insurance approval. My test is scheduled for Wednesday and I don't expect any problems with that but it wouldn't hurt to say a little prayer anyway. Dr. H is great! He puts you right at ease as soon as he comes in the room and he is so easy to talk to. I didn't notice him being in a hurry, he just came in and sat down like he had all the time in the world. Maybe Jan just caught him on a busy day. I had plenty of time to ask questions. And so I begin my journey. Marilyn

Marilyn good luck in your journey. I just saw Dr. H. on the 9th, it was a good consult, he was so helpful I felt really good after I left about the whole process. It wasnt a week later that his office called me with a surgery date so hopefully soon you'll have your date. Good Luck and God Bless!! Andrew

Marilyn: Glad everything went smoothly with Dr. H. My first consult with him is October 11th. My plan is to have all my "ducks in a row" by the time I see him. My insurance requires a 6 month doctor supervised diet (which will be done the end of September), a psych. eval. which I've already taken a test and will now meet with the psychologist next week, and a consult with a dietician which I completed last week. I already have copies of all my medical records from the various specialist I have seen. I'm hoping by doing all of this that it will help to "speed" up the process per say. I noticed you live in Mtn Home, Arkansas. Are you going to be able to have you stress test there or will you have to travel to Sedalia? I live a couple hours away from Sedalia and would be easier to have that test done locally. I will pray that your stress test goes smoothly. Take care, Debbie D. P.S. I love Mountain Home.
