Hello all you Missouri peeps

It was a beautiful morning here in the Springfield metro area but my co-worker just went to the bookstore and said it has gotten hot again today. I have really been pleading with God for coolness and rain. Animals and pastures are so dry and thirsty. Got a call last night that my younger stepson just bought a new Harley motorcycle. It scares me to death but his wife left him earlier this summer and I think this is some kind of statement. He's a good boy but I think he'd like to have the image of a bad boy. I just pray for his safety. He used to be a BMX bicycle rider so he has experience with extreme riding. He's not a kid, is 37 years old. Hopefully that's old enough to be careful but my husband had four kids and his oldest died last fall and I don't think he'd be able to stand it if anything happened to Tim. Nothing more to report from me. I keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers and love to read what you're doing. I just work!!! Love and hugs Lana

Hi Lana! It is foggy all over today, and I know the rain is close...I can feel it! Praise the Lord! I would be anxious about the motorcycle too, but it sounds like he has a good head on his shoulders and everything will be fine. Take care, Leah
