First day...
Today was my oldest's first day of school, soooo I also made it my first day at the gym. My 1 1/2 year old and I went to the YMCA and they have a free chiild care for members. I did 1 hour of exercise and she had a BLAST playing!!! It has not only lessened how much I think about missing my oldest daughter, but her little sister had friends to play with and today has been MUCH easier on her than I thought it was going to be!
A great day of FIRST's!!!!
that is quiet a deal the first day of school for your oldest one isnt it? you will make it thru it tho. and when you take your baby for her first day you will have it all to do over. lol. So have you gotten any futher on your surgery journey? Do you have a date or are you waiting for insurance approval? Let us know. Jan
Leah,
I'm so proud of you for getting started exercising. That will serve you well when you have your surgery to be already in the groove. And how cool they have child care for your little one. I go to the gym four times a week and have to admit that I don't mind it once I get there. Going after work is harder than going in the AM on the weekends but I will do whatever it takes to get this surgery. And, I know being in better physical condition will help me through the surgery. I still have the sore knees but they are no more sore than they were before I worked out so it isn't hurting them. And I can see a great improvement in my stamina and walking speed. So, it encourages me.
All of us remember the pangs of our child starting school. They seem so little to us and they want to be so big. My grandson starts seventh grade and I just find it hard to believe. I remember like yesterday how precious he was as a toddler, and he is still a great kid. I'm lucky to have a daughter and grandson that I love and that love me back.
Hugs to you and your little ones,
Lana
