Surgery Date!!
Well I was posting a message on the Whats happening and just pressed submitt when Margie Called from Dr. H's office. She had called earlier and I was out and when I returned her call she was busy for a moment but we finally got together and she said they got the approval to give me a surgery date..........woooohooooo!!!!
The only thing is, Dr. Hornbostel is so booked up now since Sedalia is the only COE hospital in the state of Missouri and even other surrounding states. He had said last week when I was there for my consult that he has people driving from Arkansas, Kanas, Illinois and 5 other states, I believe he said 8 states all together he has people coming to him for surgery. Wowzers!!!
Oh I spose ya'll want me to stop ramblin and tell ya the date LoL. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeell lets say I have a few months to get the needed weight off, the hospital has a limit at 450 lbs and Im at 481 lbs. Soooooooooooooooo the date is.........................November 14. Thats 9 days before thanksgiving. When I got off the phone with Margie I looked up the date on the calendar and seen it was 9 days before thanksgiving, I went and told my wife....weeeeeeeell you wont have to cook thanksgiving dinner this year, she says where we going, i said nooooooooooo where lol then told her bout the surgery date lol.
Well anyway I'll shut up lol im just so excited i finally have a date woohoooo

LOL Andrew!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! I can just see you and in your picture you kinda look like the ___eatin grin an all!! ....then again, it could be my blood sugar going haywire! Either way, I'm sooo happy for you Andrew!! I can't wait for my turn and with someone from our class going in, I know it won't be too long for meeee!!!! I can't remember, when did you see Dr. H again...I go in the 30th...woohoooo!! I'm a 
...ing now!!! Hopefully, you can lose the weight they want you to and then maybe we will be in, at the same time!!! I can just see that, as ornery as we both are...wheelchair races in the hall and the nurse's faces

Deb your too funny yup thats how im lookin lol Can ya believe it?? Seems the both of us were just at the 4th of July seminar and now were so far down the road from there. I saw Dr. H on Aug. 9th, wont be long you'll be there in his office getting your white notebook of info and stuff, woohoo. Hurry it up so we can have them wheel chair races
