Tuesday - Whats happening?
Ok guys, this is the substitute for the lead lady. I am still up tonight, and since I dont get up early as Jan, I am getting this post ready and it will be clicked as close to midnight as possible for tuesday(LOL)
Jan- I know you cant read this, but you will when you come home. It was a big day for you but you looked great when I saw you in the hospital. I just want you to know I gave the board your message that you love them and miss them. We also love you and miss you!!
Craig - thanks for letting everyone know of Jans surgery and how everyting went. I did not get opportunity to know till I got to hospital as I have no access to cp at work.
Hope you continue to feel good. There were a lot of foods that gave me trouble at first too. I usually stuck with cottage cheese, yogurt and applesauce and baby foods.
Melissa - Hope you have no more problems with Hernia until you can be operated on? Did you have that trouble before you lost weight too?? Please be careful.
Lana - Nice to see you posting and thanks for all your prayers for Jan too.
Andrew - Hope you hear of your date soon. We will all be anxiously awaiting the news.
Tracey, Please visit us more. As to your question about Wayne- I can not answer that - only that his wife was sick and had surgery and he has been busy with the children this summer. I miss some other people who used to post all the time before I had my surgery too. They are all welcome to come back at any time. This is how we support one another.
Sky, Hope this finds you all well and doing good. I would love to live in the woods where I could see some of the animals. The only thing we see here is an occassional deer or turkey.
Now I ask for all of your prayers for Brenda who will have surgery this thursday morning at sedalia with Doctor Hornbostel. Please keep her in your prayers.
David, how are you? We hope all if fine.
Linda and Barb - hope is all well with you also. Any questions please email me/ If I can help I will.
Before I go just want to say please forgive me if I forgot anyone - it is not intentional. My daughter in Ohio is having RNY on August 29th. She is having it done at a regular Bariatric Center in Michigan. She was telling me about the rooms. They even have the big oversized chairs and beds and they do 6 surgeries a day. and that is the only kinds of surgery they do. Bariatric surgery is their speciality. She is excited about it and her husband had it donein April and has lost 65 already. So as the times gets closer, I will be asking my Missouri friends to pray for her. I would like to go for the surgery but it depends on my DH and how he feels.
Well, have a great day - Love you all. Colette \
Good Morning everyone
Well I plan on going to see Jan today. I have made my schedule so I have a lot of running around to do up in Sedalia. Get it all done in one day so I don't have to burn as much gold opps I mean gas. LOL
Colette your daughter has now been added to my prayer list. And I am praying that your DH gets to feeling a whole lot better really soon so you can be with your DD. It is in God's hands, and he has a reason for everything even if we don't know what it is most of the time. And you are doing a great job filling in for Jan while she is gone.
I am praying for you all to have a wonderful day and for God to Bless Each and Every One of You and Your Families also.

Good Morning Colette and Missouri Board, Hi
Well I'm up getting ready for my first Post-Op visit with Dr. H. today, of course I'm excited about that. So I have to fix my hair, etc. So far things have been all right just mainly still very sore, tired of liquids but not hungry at all. So we'll see what the Dr. says today and see if I've lost any weight. My DH has been having a ball with his meals now that he has to mainly eat what's in the frig by himself, last night it was Chicken Spaghetti, it smelt good but I was not phased, man this is gggrrreeaatt!
Colette: Thanks for keeping the board informed while Jan recuperates and no I can't believe it's been a week already and I feel so good.
Jan: I talked with her briefly last night and she sounded great, of course still woozing. Still sending up those prayers for her.
Linda: Hope you are feeling great today, how are you coming along with your liquids?
Craig: Hope you are doing great sounds like you have it down to a science now.
Brenda: It is sooooon now and just know we are sending prayers up and God is still blessing.
To everyone sending Hugs and God's blessings to you this morning and wishing eveyone a GREAT day. If I didn't mention you by name please don't feel slighted, I'm still trying to learn how to get everyone included. to everyone.
God bless you and keep you!
