How can I start a support group?

Hello everybody! My sister is scheduled to have surgery in Sedalia. She lives around the Hermitage Mo. area. She has found several people around there that have had WLS. They are in need of a local support group. Do you have any ideas about how to go about doing this. I emailed my support group leader for information,cathy w. but have not recieved any feed back from her yet. Thanks Jean E Wood
