MONDAY WHATS HAPPENING!!!!!!!
I am posting this before I leave for Sedalia and my pre-ops. After which I will be checking on Barbara since she is having her surgery today.
I have my little ice chest packed with 8 water bottles full of water so I can keep the water flowing
. I will write tomorrow all about the pre ops so anyone behind me will know what all. They do.
I am really getting excited and yesterday at some time my leg stopped hurting so badly. Still is sore but not as much. So I think everyone's prayers are working. Thank you Jesus. Thank you friends.
Lucky: your family sounds like mine. Just a little left of center? Lol but that is what makes families so enduring. After my Dad passed away my Mama decided that she didn't want us to have to make arrangement for her funeral so she wanted to pay for it all and arrange it herself. she had a party of her and me and my other two sisters. We all got together and went funeral shopping. Planed it down to the last detail and then we went out and had fun. We laughed and acted silly all day .Was a good day spent with my mom and sisters.
I hope you and your family have a great time at Disney world. Enjoy yourselves. Celebrate grandpas time here on earth and his passing ..
Marilyn: glad to see you posting. I think that is more what people should do when someone dies. Especially if they were a Christian because we know where they are and that is something to celebrate.
Colette: was neat talking to you yesterday. Thanks for all the advice. I hope everything works out . I didn't ask you but are you going up to be with your daughter when she has her surgery? Those tomatoes sound really good that you are picking.
Well the baptismal service for my granddaughter was so pretty. And touching. I gave her a tiny little gold heart necklace. I had the date engraved on the back and told her that this was to remind her of the date that she gave her heart to Jesus. I hope she will always wear it and let it remind her of this date.
Well it is about time to go so I will get off here and get ready. Will let you all know how things went.
Brenda: Hey glad to see you on the board this morning. I was getting ready to list your name under the missing list below. But you came thru just in time. I am the same way about not wanting to unbend after being seated too long. And too long can be less than 10 minutes. If I were sitting and the place caught on fire I guess I would burn up before I could get my legs to going. None of the inflammatory meds seem to help any either. And no sense in trying any of the newer ones now since we wont be able to take them after surgery. I use Ultram for the pain and live with the rest..
Benny: good to see your post this morning too.
You were like Brenda just got in under the wire before being listed as MIA. Sorry about your weight gain . Just keep trying. What sort of diet are you on? Stay healthy and you have plenty of time to lose it before you surgery date.
You are always in my prayers. Hey what is your car doing in McDonalds that isn't on your diet plan is it ? Lol
Craig: hope you are still feeling good. Walkin and boppin along.
Where is Sky, , Lia, Wayne, Elizabeth, Tressia, Kelli, Tracey, Rachael, and many more. Come out come out where ever you are.
LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS
JAN
Good evening Jan,
Be sure to let us know all about your pre-op testing. There are a lot of us coming behind you that need to know.
I finally got an appointment for psyche eval Thursday in Springfield. I couldn't get that woman named Hollaway because she doesn't accept Medicare so i am going to see a Dr. Brewer. Has anyone heard of her or him? I don't even know if it's a man or woman. Some people have said it takes a couple of hours and others say a half hour.... I'm really confused about the whole process.
Maybe I just need to relax a little like my DH says and take it a day at a time.

One more week Jan! I know your probably getting nervous. I'll be thinking about you, we will be leaving for our trip to Disneyland, we have to leave at 4:00am to get to the airport in time to catch our flight to Anaheim. I am soooooooooooo not ready for t his trip, still trying to find someone to dog sit with our 2 smaller dogs as I would really rather not kennel them that would be the last resort. We have a dog sitting service coming in once per day to take care of our 2 large dogs, cats, rabbit, and birds. She can only come once per day though because she and her husband are running a booth at the fair, so the big dogs will stay in their run and she will come to clean, feed and water.
We still haven't scraped together the money for Disneyland tickets we need to order by Saturday to get the online discount. The dog grooming business has been very very slow with the heat, nobody wanted to get out and do anything I guess. So I've been calling my clients to tell them I'm closing for a week and see if anyone needs their pet groomed this week, and that is helping some. It doesn't help that my husband got a 500.00 per month paycut a few months ago or we would have been better prepared for this trip. We have been there before and know a grocery store within walking distance so we are going to walk there and get sandwich stuff and breakfast stuff to help cut down on our food bill. The funny thing is that Pokemon is putting us up for a weeks stay in the Anaheim Hilton, so here we are going to be in this fancy schmancy hotel eating bologna sandwiches so we can afford to go to Disneyland lol.
