I have been one of the AWOL
Hello Everybody,
I guess I have been one of the AWOL 
When I get to spending to much time on the computer I don't know when to quick 
Then when I try to stand up 
Nothing that's bent wants to straighten out 
So I need to stay out of this chair sometimes.
Jan we are still praying for you and everyone else that's sick.
My DH and I will be traveling to Sedalia this thursday, I have my pre-op day the 11th.
I plan on going by and seeing Linda S. while we are there, her surgery is the 10th. And
Barbara T. if she's still there, her surgery is tomorrow so I may miss her.
Just wanted to let you all know whats going on with me. I am going to bed pretty soon.
I am so tired and my feet and legs are swelled to the hilt and they are really starting to hurt 
We had our General Baptist Association meeting all day yesterday and then church and visitation all day today with my feet hanging down both days and that makes them swell. I usually get to keep them up at home in my recliner or bed and that keeps them from swelling. Oh well such is life.
I am so ready to start this journey, I don't have much time left now, only 10 more days. I start my pre-op diet tomorrow. I had a liver scan done a few months ago and I asked them if it was enlarged and they said it didn't look like it was so I am glad of that. So I just have to get down some of the fat there, I have been diagnosed with a fatty infiltrate in my liver before and had to go on a low fat diet. I don't think it has any infiltrates now because when I did have that, it was painful!

Good luck on your upcoming surgery. Soon you will be feeling better as the weight starts to fall off of you. You will be amazed at how fast you will lose the weight. You will feel better pretty soon. Just eat what the dietician tells you to eat for the first couple of months . You pouch is like a babys and very sensitive. Since you are a christian God will be in the opearting table with you guiding the surgeons hands. It is weird but I was at peace when I have any surgeris I know God will take care of me or if it is my time to go to heaven I will wake up in heaven. Either choice is a good one. It is a win win situation.
