Jan.... why do I always gotta be the evil one? LOL Hey, I was the same way when I was younger and no one complained about be being short when I was thin, now I'm a beachball with legs and they all think it's funny. Hey, there might be something to that "getting fat makes ya shorter". you think?...lol Still praying for you sister! I feeling good about this so you better have your faith up and ready and the Lord's armor on! It may be a battle, but your gonna win! Remember, this is God's war, not ours! Give it to Him and let Him take care of it! Praise His Holy Name!! JESUS!

Jan, Well I posted a blank note. LOL. So lets try again. Want to tell you that the prayers are going out to the throne of our heavenly father for you. If you experience an overwhelming feeling tomorrow that is because everyone will be saying extra prayers for you in church.I want you to drink and drink and drink and I mean water is the best and also some cranberry juice 2 times a day. You must remember to take it easy and relax and and make you # 1 now. I know you love the garden and flowers but just at this time you need to do all the aove so your body can fight the infection. Did they do a culture to determine that Cipro is the best antibiotic? I know Cipro is a broad spectrum antibiotic but it is not always the best drug. I am sure your PCP knows best. Please take it easy Love ya! Colette

Dear Jan and all my MO OH friends, I feel so much better today. I left work early yesterday and came home and rested. DH's plane was about 30 minutes late but I had checked the internet so I wasn't at the airport waiting. Just drove in and my cell phone rang and he was on the curb. Today we went to the gym and then home and haven't left. I really intended to do some errands but seemed unable to muster the energy. Tomorrow will be busy with church and the gym. And I want to do some cooking. I like to cook on the weekend so I have leftovers for lunch during the week. My boss gets back from vacation Tuesday and I know she'll hit the ground running 80 mph so I've got to be prepared. She's wonderful. I will surely be praying for you Jan and for all the people having surgery this month. It's a busy time for us. My daughter has decided that September 16 will be the day she moves to North Missouri. Her in-laws (her husband died 10 years ago) will be coming with her to help her get settled. They are wonderful people and have helped her so much. They will drive down in one day I think. I won't go up until they leave so they can have her and Adam to themselves as long as they are there. Then I'll go up and help her with whatever she needs me to do. It is still unbelieveable to me that she'll be 4 hours away. She's always been a plane ride away after we left California seven years ago. I have a new friend at the gym. His name is Allan and I would like all of you to be able to get to know him. He is such a sweet, gentle man. He is waiting to have WLS too and I'm trying to encourage him to post on this board. Allan, if you're out there give us a shout!!! Hugs and love to all and know that I"m praying for all of you. I don't have to remember your names, God does that for me. Lana
