question?????

I have sent in my paperwork and 2 of my dr statements and just need the psych eval. I haven't heard from the surgeon's office at all. I just wondered if I should be contacting them or if I should wait for the psych eval and then contact them. Any thoughts? Thanks Barb

I don't know to be honest but I haven't heard a thing from my doctor's office either so I emailed Dena (my Dr's nurse) to see if there is anything that I should be doing and I asked if they had recieved my paperwork from my pcp and my others doctors yet. I haven't heard anything back. Im waitng...I'd saying patiently but that would be a lie..... Deb

Debbie, did Dena tell you to have letters & reports sent to the doctor's office? I was specifically told not to do that because we won't have a chart until our first appointment to see Dr. H. Well, I just thought of something.maybe you have already been in to see him. Stupid me My appointment is Aug. 23rd and I am to bring everything with me then. Marilyn

my appt. is aug 30th but I thought she said for me to send it to them....I will be calling them Monday to find out for sure...thanx for the heads up...Deb

I bet they are waiting for the psych eval., but I called them when I thought they had my letters from the dr's just to make sure they got them. I just wanted to keep on top of it and make sure my paperwork wasn't just sitting in a file somewhere. I don't think it hurts to keep on top of it. Sheila

I would wait a few more days, I know last year when I went through them Nancy was the main contact and she only works Tuesdays through Thursdays so if you leave a message for her after she leaves on Thursdays then you won't hear back from her till Tuesdays. They are usually pretty swamped with phone calls but give them time and they will get back with you as soon as they can. Nancy and Kathy and all the office staff at his office are great about that and they will help you with whatever you need. If the only thing you are waiting for is the Pscyh eval and they have already told you thats all they are waiting for then wait till after you see the pscyh and then get in touch with them again.
