No surgery for me

I fell and broke my fibula bone in my lower left leg Tuesday night and will be in a cast for 4-6 weeks. During surgery and recovery period they put wraps on your lower legs that help keep your blood circulating to keep it from clotting and since I have a cast now the wraps can not be used. I will have a new surgery date just not sure when. I am so disappointed and frustrated I have been preparing for this for so long and when the date finally was nearing poof its gone again! I guess all things happen for a reason...........but dang I wanna know the reasons!! Stacey

Oh, I know ALL about wanting to know the reasons behind why it all happens. It sure does make a person crazy, doesn't it? I'm sorry that things have been put on hold. Hopefully you will find out your new date very soon, so at least you can move forward instead of feeling like your life is up in the air. I've been going through that all summer long, and it totally sucks. I'm also sorry to hear that you broke your leg. I'm sure it's quite uncomfortable. Six weeks isn't all that long, so maybe you'll have your surgery by mid-September. Hang in there, it will all work out eventually! Pamela

Hello Stacey!!! Sorry about you leg being broke :o(. I will continue to keep you in my prayers and before you know it your new date for surgery will be here. You said you will be okay and out of the cast in 4-6 weeks so maybe you get the surgery in September? Try and relax, I been there done that with my ankle some years ago. Hope your feeling okay! Stacey, I understand wanting to know the reason but being much much older than you I can say that some of the things that I thought were so bad when they were happening as I went down the road a few months or even years I was able to see how they were really blessings. One of my favorite songs is Garth Brooks song that talks about "Some of Gods Greatest Blessings Are Unanswered Prayers" and how we ask for things and think God isn't answering us only to find that the answer was wait or no because He had something much better planned for us. I don't think your broken leg was sent by God but He can use anything for our good so keep your chin up and know that we'll always be here for you. Stacey sorry to hear about your leg....But dont give up now....We wont have that ....SATAN WE REBUKE YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS, LEAVE THIS GIRL ALONE BACK OFF NOW........Stacey.....all those times i got turned away was like God telling me it wasnt my time then to have WLS...Maybe he sees you having it at another time..Although its dissapointing just hang in there..Take this time to do the 1000 cal diet like I did...you got plenty of time to lose some on your own..Its a great feeling to be able to lose it when you got something to back it up like WLS in the future......Hang in there buddy and keep that Leg Elavated......................Craig Lee
