A Post From Brenda's Husband The Pastor!

I thinks this support group is a wonderful thing. Being a preacher of the gospel, I have always said that everyone should stick together because no one should ever have to go through anything alone. I would like to quote to you one of my many favorite Bible scriptures. Isaiah 43:1-2 But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Dear Rev. Minks, Thank you for the message you put on here. I have never met you or Brends but I plan to meet you both the day after her surgery. I too, am a pastors wife, so I have mu*****ommon with Brenda. (and you too). My husband is retired but has been a pastor for over 44 years. We continue to be blessed with Gods promise and love. Rev Minks Thank you for God's word. It really seems to fit what we go thro in order to get this surgery. I also wanted to say Thanks from the bottom of my heart for the emails and helping to open my eyes!!! You and your beatiful wife have been a real blessing to me!!! God Bless you ALWAYS!!! Melissa

It is good to support each other . With all my health problems this year if so many people had not been praying for me I dont think I would still be alive. The docs are amazed I am still here. My sister told me and I guess it is true we are here until God deciedes it is time to go to heaven especially when lots of people are praying for you to stay here. I was so sick I told God it was ok to take me home I was ready, but I guess he was not ready for me yet. I wish I knew what he wanted me to do and why I am still here. When other friends not nearly as sick as I was die it is hard sometimes to understand why I am still here, but I guess God knows why.
