Hello

Iam very weak still but I came online to say hello to everyone..Iam not avoiding you guys at all...Its been rough on me with the heat, lung infection and the surgery....I have not had any nutrition for almost 3 weeks....apple juice, water and sometimes SF Jello just is not cutting it...........Craig Lee

Craig I am so sorry to hear that you are feeling so bad. I dont understand why your not getting your protein in you?? Are you not allowed to have protein now or what?? Your in my thoughts and prayers as always. Just remember.....And this too shall pass. God Bless Melissa

Craig can you not keep down any broth ? you are allowed that too. and when you see dr. H he will increase your diet. when do you see him ? day after tomorrow? hang in there buddy. try the broth. you said you had some tht was really good. . Jan

Im drinking broth, water,apple juice, sf popsycle when i can.. and walking...my temp is still up ..no protein it has to be clear liquid until i see him on Thursday...If its going to be hot on Thursday ..iam not going...thats just it..Its hard enough on me to breath than to travel over 100 miles in this heat with no a/c Craig Lee ..Sorry I didnt mean to sound cranky there

Craig...sorry to hear your having difficulties! Cranky or not...we still care! It's not like you don't have reason to be, you have been through a lot! I, for one was surprised when you got out of the hospital the day you did. You have been through quite a bit. Give yourself time, your body time and allow the Lord in to heal you spiritually as well. The Lord didn't bring you through this for you to give up now! I know it's gotta be hard to do and I know I haven't been there yet, but I can imagine! I have already warned the hubby that when I come out of surgery, I'm gonna be a BEAR and I'm gonna wanna eat. I also told him that if he thinks I'm cooking him steak when all I'm getting is broth, he better think again! He laughs and says, I know, I know.....no he doesn't! He thinks Momma bear gets mad when you mess with her kids, HA! Mess with her porridge and see what happens! As always, Love & Prayers, Deb You stood STRONG in faith before your surgery, we stood STRONG in faith while you were in surgery and the days to follow. We now stand STRONG together in faith to get you through this as well as the rest of us! Hang in there Craig, we are there for you, trust me! The Lord is there for you too, all you have to do is reach out for Him! I don't know if you know but while you were recovering I got hurt by accidently by knocking myself over the head with a fence post driver and just about knocked myself out! I was out "in the back 40" when it happened and I had to call on the Lord to help get me back up to the house...Craig, I couldn't of done it without Him!! I know your sick, stressed and wore out but you can do it and I know in the weeks, months and probably years you will be doing the same for us when it's our turn! Just a couple more days and you will be seeing Dr. H again! As for the weather, I heard it was to cool off and be in the 80's Thursday and Friday...woohoo!!!

wont they come back after you in the van that took you home? It isnt air conditioned? That is too bad if it isnt. If you are continueing to have a low grade temp you probably should be back in the hospital. Call Dr. H. tomorrow and tell them how you feel.Please. Jan

Craig? I have been meaning to confirm with you that you live in LaPlata. May I ask which Church you attend there? The reason I'm asking is my oldest sister (not the one that had the baby at 42) use to live in Kirksville and attended an Assembly of God Church there, in LaPlata I believe. Her and her hubby's names are James & Connie Francis (not the famous one) I went up there for a visit while she re-cooped from gall bladder surgery about 10 years ago! I went up by Amtrak (first train trip, other than at Knott's Berry Farm in so. ca.) and loved it! The stop for that area was in LaPlata and it reminded me of that old show "Petticoat Junction" (hmmm, showing my age now...lol) Also, last but not least by any means, I re-dedicated my life to the Lord the first Sunday evening service they had while I was up there. I guess I should really be saying I rededicated my life to the Church, God and I never parted ways but had issues with the Church, way back when. Anyway, your suppose to be resting so I won't keep you! May the Lord hold you close during these trying times Craig, know that He blesses you when your too weak to praise Him, know that He weeps when you suffer, know that He carrys you when you cannot walk, know that He heals you as you rest, know that He loves you no matter what, know that He's there even when you think He isn't! Craig can you have the tasteless protien powder that dissolves in anything? You are weak from lack of protien. If you can have the tasteless protien you can add it to broth or cryslal light, or apple juice or anything you can tolerate.

Hello Craig: Hang in there I think of you often and hold you in my prayers, in fact I ask God right now to please place a hand on Craig right now give him your touch of strength to pull through each day stronger and healthier to live in your good graces lord Craig even though I don't know him is a good child of yours lord, i feel as though i know him through the fine folks i meet here on the message board.
