he said he was so weak, from not eating and from having diareaha too . Anyone have any suggestions for him should email him . He is sort of down i think. I think he thought he would be up running around the house in a few days. I told him to try and drink his water tht he is suppose to drink he said he had 3 little cubes of s f jello and it tasted sooo good. I ask him if he could maybe have some broth for a little nurishment. But he wanted me to post on the board why he is not on the computer. Lets all keep him in our prayers so that he will get some strength back soon. Jan

Jan, I don't really have any advice for Craig but, wanted to say that I didn't feel so whoopy after I had my RNY either...just sat/slept in my husbands recliner...and with him having pneumonia and infection on top of recouperating from surgery...I think it's normal for him to be weak. I'll write him a little email!!! Have a nice weekend!! -Kelli

Jan, the first few days post op for me I was able to eat so little I too was weak. Tell him to try to drink protein shakes if his doctor allows that. I would take about an ounce at a time every three hours or so. SF jello is good and I would get Egg drop soup from the local chinese restaraunt. My doctor even let me eat the eggwhites they put in it. He said it was so minimal it was like liquid. I lived on Egg drop soup, protein shakes, and SF jello my first couple of weeks. Tell him I'm praying for him and this too shall pass. Tracey

I don't have any advice either. Just wanted to send him good thoughts. I'm sure this is from him being sick as well.
