Hi everyone! Hope ya'll are having a wonderful Friday!!! I'm so mad, I've gone from 147 up to 153-157 depending. I have no clue what caused a 10 pound gain, but I'm MAD!!! haha. I've been working out, and feel more muscle in my body but 10 lbs worth? I doubt that! Maybe its the carbs. Why is it so hard to cut out the carbs when for the 1st year I stayed clear of them completely? I do not want to end up back to my old self, have any of you experienced this at around 2 years post op? I'm starting to look into p.s. for my stomach and want to lose more, not gain! Thanks, Chrissy 283/152

After a year out it is normal to regain a little weight. I regained 30 pounds but have lost all of that but 5 pounds which I am still working on losing. We just have to go back to our good habits we made the first year and follow the pouch rules for dummies. Always eat protien first the veggies, fruit and good carbs. If you eat in that order you dont have a lot of room left for the carbs. I lots of time eat pizza but leave the crust, I eat spaghetti but mostly eat meat sauce and just a little pasta. I can tolerate sugar but that is something to avoid most of the time. I can have an occasional treat but not everyday just once in a while. I think moderation is the key and we have to remember we are never really finished. We mus****ch what we eat our whole lives and not go back to our previous bad habits.
