I finally got to talk to the Insurance Doc that denied me. She said that I sent in way too much medical history and all she wanted from me was a statement from my PC stating that I had been under a supevised diet for 6 months with no results. She said that the medical history I sent in was way too much for her to read and she would be happy to ok my surgery if I could get a pargraph from pc stating my supervied diet and also show my Blood Preasure was being controlled. So I stopped at Pc office on Wed and my BP was 142/92 (Top number good compared to before medication) so they let me set for about 10 min and took it again 138/84. The Doc was already gone for the day so she called me today and said she will send the letter in but first she wanted to increase BP med and check it again in a few days. So I have to be good and get my BP down. Then she will fax letter . hope next update is better. Jane

Jane Well at least the insurance compnay is saying that they will approve your surgery. Once the correct paperwork is in. And hopefully you wont have to be on that B/P medcine for too long after you have had your surgery. I will be praying that your B/P stay at a level that your PCP will approve of. Good Luck & Let us know how your doing. Melissa
