Im so excited today. I got signed up for a Master Gardner's Course in October. It is something I have always wanted to do. I don't know that what all it teaches but just to say your a Master Gardner has a nice sound to it lol. Well today we are going to go and get the truck checked out sure hope it isn't too much money but it really needs the work done to it. I swear it is bad enough to have to see specialist for your health, you know heart, bones, pain, etc but now it is that way with automobiles. Not just a mechanic but a front end expert, rear end, lubrications, tire men lol What are we going to have specialist in next? I guess there aren't many jack of all trades left . I guess that is showing my age some there. Does any one else watch (so you think you can Dance) I love that show and wi**** was on longer than it is. Who do you like on there if you watch it. My favorite is Benji. He is the best dancer., or I think so. Well Craig had a some disappointment today but Since everyone prayed for him this evening Im sure he is feeling better. Thanks Guys. Lucky: glad you have the sleep study out of the way. I didn't have to have that done. I know they would find I don't sleep well lol. Restless legs keep me awake a lot I think. I hope you get your surgery date when you want it to be. But what ever date it is will probably be the date you want it. Lol Linda: do you have to stay at the hospital after your surgery so long because you are having open bypass surgery? Maybe if you feel like it and I am out of surgery on the 14th you could come by my room on your way out of the hospital. Would love to meet you if for only a second. How fantastic that you have lost weight and inches both during your weight and measuring day at Curves. Way to go girl. All the more you wont have to get off after surgery. Time is coming up fast for us now. We thought it would never get here and now it is .whooooohooooo. Collette: LOL you may be the old lady of the bunch but I am not far behind you sweetie. That don't mean there isn't still some fire left in the furnace does it? We on here certainly appreciate your visiting everyone as they come thru Bothwell Hosp. And for the prayers you send up for all of us. Pixielf: I can see you in your little green elf outfit with the red hair flying around the state delivering your baskets of goodies to all new post-ops. Would sure be a fun job wouldn't it. Lot different that what you have now. I can't believe how evil those people are. That is more than harassment I would think anyway. With the hosp and docs on your side you might very well win a law suite against them. We will all pray that you find another job soon and get out of that toxic waste dump you are in. Until then God will protect you . Lift up thine eyes unto the hills from which cometh my strength. Melissa: glad you are sticking around for this next week . Lol doesn't matter when you are gone we will miss you anyway. Always do. I know you will enjoy having the baby around a little longer. I can't wait until you are a mother. And I will happen one way or the other. You have way tooooooo much love to give a child , I know any child would be so lucky to have you for a mother. Barbara: I know what you mean about going nuts . It seems like it will never get here then it is going to fast. And things keep coming up . Like my kidney infection. Will it clear up before surgery or not? Yes , no, maybe. Would they do the surgery even if it was still there slightly? What is your book about? Are you a professional writer or is this your first attempt? We already have one professional on here that checks in once in awhile with us. Tracey writes Christian novels. Andrew: I guess your computer decided it would just take a vacation. Sorry that it messed up on you. What happened? They can sure be aggravating some times I know. Just hope you didn't lose anything important. We will be here when you get back or maybe you can run by the library daily and check in with us lol. Marcie: How great is that your son keeps winning you vacations like that. How old is he? Pokemon what sort of game is that. I thought that was just a collection of cards? Of course there is a lot I don't know about things the kids are doing today. Lol Im glad you will keep in contact while you are gone that will be great . And you will have good stories to tell us when you get home. Barb S. congratulations on getting the ball rolling towards getting surgery . Always good to see new people on here. Kelli: wish you would post more often . Miss seeing your sweet smiling face on here. Jamie: oh so good to see you back on the board and to be able to see your picture is great too. Where have you been? We have missed you. Loved your article you posted. That was very good. David: Great to see you again. You must be feeling so much better , you posted a couple of times yesterday. We appreciate seeing that you are better and that you are living proof of God answering prayers. Spoil those puppies and get well. Deanna: Joining curves was probably the best thing you could do for yourself. Hope it really helps you finish off your weight loss and speeds things up for you. Keep up the good work. And I love the picture of you being on here. It is a great picture. Sky: you and your wildlife are always in to it aren't you? We have lots coming into our yard too but our big dog usually keeps most of it run off . At least we assume he does. Lol He doesn't bark much tho. Everyone that has been sending up prayers for me I thank you. I know without them this kidney infection could not have left or the symptoms anyway so quickly. I know I will be well and over it before I even go for my pre ops on the 7th but the devil sure likes to throw things at you doesn't he. Again thanks and am thanking you all for the prayers for Craig too on his behalf. I know that God has heard us as they found a small spot in his lungs that could be causing it. I don't know if that is like pneumonia or what? But it is responding to treatment so that is good. I am glad that they found what it was . Rachael: I am so glad that the doctor found you were low on B-12 see how important those vits and b-12 s are everyone. So when do you start on the injections. Hope you see results soon and the pain starts subsiding. More prayers answered. We have some awesome prayer warriors on here. Keep up the great work from on your knees. Amen LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS JAN

I hope Craig's infection doesn't lead to anything worse! My daughter and I are going to lunch and to the movie "Monster House" with a friend of mine and her nephew...it should be a fun afternoon. Something to get out of the house, at any rate. Have a great day! Pamela

Jan, yes, that is the reason I have to stay for 4 days. They don't do the leak test until the second day after surgery. So they won't test for leaks until Saturday morning. Then I get to have liquids if all is OK. Stopping by before I go home sounds like a good idea. I'll try to do that. My husband can't pick me up until he gets back from KCI airport. Our son is flying back to California early on the 14th. So I'll be around the hospital for a while. Maybe you'll be out of surgery so I can drop by and "harrass" you a bit! I have 13 days left! I can't believe it is almost here. I'm starting my diet on Monday. That should make it really go fast. I'll keep you in my prayers that the infection in your kidneys leaves soon and you're OK for the 14th. Love to all and God's blessings.....Linda

But it looks like it is going to pass up the Joplin area. I got some errands to run today. Then hopefully get out in the pool if it doesnt rain. I am going to try and post my photos if I can remember how to do it. I got photos of the begining, 1 month out and 3 months out. That I want to put up on my profile. We have such an awsume group of prayer warriors. When I belonged to this Christain Chat group that use to be my nickname I went by Prayer Warrior. Jan, I'm a terrible friend! I had every intention of going by the hospital and checking on Craig while I was in Sedalia exercising. I don't know what happened to my brain, but I got into my car, ran my errands, and came home without even stopping by to check on him! I am so sorry. When I go into town tomorrow, I'll go by and see him if he is still there. I hope he will forgive me. Linda

Hi there Jan and MO Board!! Well I was up and out early today, and now I'm ready to sit for awhile, maybe take a nap, or better yet do some writing on this book. Jan about nine years ago the Lord told me to write my autobiography, but because I can't see who would be interested in the things that have happened to me in this life I have procrastinated for these nine years just messing around. So now I feel an urgency to get it finished and published. My youngest son told me to get to writing because there are young women out there who need to know how to survive some things I went through . This is my first attempt at a book, but when I was a little younger , I wrote a couple of songs that the choir at church sang, a play that the Drama club put on, but nothing so upscale that I would classify myself as professional yet. And I feel more books in me but I first have to get this one out and I am the only one hampering myself. I'm working on it and it is taking on a life of its own sooooo one of these days soooon you may hear of it . Life has been exceptionally trying at times for me as well as for others I know, but for the miinistry God has given me I've been through "some thangs" and thank God I'm alive to tell it. Anyway enough of that , God is good all the time and all the time God is good. I talk a lot about God because that's who I know and I am so impressed with this MO board because I hear so much love and respect for God, so with that I want to wish everyone a blessed and richly enjoyable day full of God's blessings. I have 11 days to go till surgery not counting WLS day and all I can say is wwwhhhooopppppeeeee! God bless, Barb T. in KC

Good for you Jan, that sounds fun. I can't grow a darn thing, of course I'm bad about either no****ering, or over watering. Plants cringe when I walk by them in the store, they are like "Nooooooo not me!!!" LOL Yes Pokemon is a trading card but there is a game you play with them, and I'm not really sure how the game is played I don't play. My husband works for them running tournaments and stuff and he is working at the world tournament too. He gets free airfare and 4 days stay at the Hilton plus food allowance, and my son gets 2 airline tickets and 3 days at the Hilton, so we just buy one ticket for my daughter and put the 2 hotel stays back to back and make a real vacation out of it. You asked how old my son is, he will be 17 next month. I can't believe I'm saying that! These darn kids just grow up wayyyyyyyy too fast!! I know a lot of people can't wait for their kids to go out on their own, I would love to have another kid or two so I don't have to worry about having an empty house for another 18 years or so. My husbands works nights, always has and if it wearn't for my kids I'd be pretty lonely!! --Marci
