Hello to all the people I've missed...

Hello, to all the people I missed when I first came to OH. Missouri. I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself better. My Name is Debbie, I'm from Harrisonville. I am married, have 4 children, five grandchildren, 5 dogs and a litter of 8 retrievers. I'm going to (hopefully) have the Lap Band Surgery done (too chicken for the others). Dr. Hornbostel will be my surgeon if everything goes okay (ins, tests, labs) and my surgery will be done in Sedalia. As for the picture of me on my postings, it is a picture of me before I got hurt in 1997. The reason I picked that picture is, it's a daily reminder for myself to not give up! I know I will never look like that again but if it can help encourage me to gain back any of my strengths, physical or emotional, it's well worth it! If you want to see me as I am today, there is a picture on my profile. To all of you that I have already met and that have excepted me for who I am, I just want to add a "BIG" THANK YOU! You will never know what you mean to me, already! There have been days and nights where yours postings to me as well as others have helped pull me out of the deep, dark sludge called "depression" and most of you probably didn't even know it, but God does! Congrats on working towards having your surgery. Which one you choose is YOUR choice and I'm sure that you will make the best decision for YOU!
