Jan.... Awwwwww man... that infection has got to just suck royally!!! But I am glad that you are under treatment right now and we are just GOING TO BELIEVE THAT IT IS GOING AWAY RIGHT NOW... AMEN!.... please do take care though and drink TONS of water my dear... flush those icky yucky bacteria right outta that gorgeous bod of yours!!!! What is on tap for me today? Girding my loins to go to work... *sigh*... I SO don't want to go... I so don't want to go.... but I will go and I will be the BEST employee in the world... and the best worker for my customers... (which btw I love love love!!)...and I know that somewhere out there ...there IS a job for me... it will make itself know when it is time...and then it will be MINE!.... Everyone have a lovely day! Good Morning Everyone I got a call from my Dr yesterday. They canceled my 3 month appointment for the 27 of July due to the Dr being out sick this week. They said I could either see one of his assistance or wait to see Dr. Scott but I wouldnt be able to see him until Aug 24th. So I am waiting to see Dr. Scott since he will have to do the hernia repair anyways. I just dont know if I can wait that long tho since it has been really hurting alot lately. Oh well it gives me another month to lose more weight. lol Jan: It was my pleasure talking to you. When I talk to you from now on I will just say this is Meme. I hope you get to feeling better soon. Let us know how your doing okay? Your in my prayers!!! Sherr: Thank you for the information on the syrup. It sounds so good. Keep your chin up okay?? Deanna: So glad to see your back and had a good time on vacation. Lucky: How did your sleep study go?? I felt like I was going to shock myslef they had me hooked up to so many things. Andrew: Well your one more step closer to your surgery. I keep a copy of everything also in case anyone lost something. lol Collette: I remember lol when my DH had to drink that jug of stuff and he thought I was fooling him. I dont envy anyone tha thas to drink it. lol Linda: Just 2 more weeks are you counting down the days now?? Lana: Getting together after the meeting sounds like fun. Well I am going to go get some thing done today. Laundry errands, ect. I will be leaveing on Thursday morning to just go to my parents house for the weekend. Hopefully when I come back I will have my new neice or nephew. My Neices is due anytime now. I told her she had to wait until I was there before she could go into labor. Just a quick "HELLO" to everyone this beautiful day, Jan your are a blessing because even though your are feeling sick yourself you are up spreading joy and encouragement for all of us, and believe me you are in my prayers as well as the others. Thank you for the update on Craig, hope you will get this thing out of your kidneys soon and will feel better. I thought it might have been nerves I didn't know you were in pain, however glad that you caught it in time. To everyone else you all are grrrrreeeeeaaaaattttttt also and you all are in my prayers. Good Morning Jan & Everyone Else: Jan so glad you caught your problem before it got any worse, I'll keep a spot in my prayer book for you as I read down the list of prayers for all in mind. I thought I'd drop in to see how everyone is doing and say hello, I'v sorta been beconed too pop in I think. (Get my drift Jan). Sorry I haven't been in for a few days but I have a habit to drop in read how every one is doing and pop out. I need to work on that. Good afternoon everyone, Hey Jan I do pray you get rid of that kidney infection, as for as the yeast infection from antibiotics eat lots of yogurt. I'm glad you got a kick out of my story about my husband's ho-made porta potty!! Wasn't that a hoot! Well it won't be long now for you and me, I'm just counting the days and I know you are too. 22 days (after today ) for me! OMG that's just 3 weeks!!!! Barbara T from KC you are getting so close now we will be praying for you. Linda you too, it won't be long now, I wish you didn't have to have an open surgery, but I know God will be with to help you heal fast. And I'm sorry ,but no one seems to be as good as Jan and Melissa about mentioning everybody by name, sometimes I get my own kids names wrong. Jan and all, I finally got that darned picture to show up. It's not my favorite but it's one that was on the computer so it's OK. I have six different wigs and wear all of them on different days so no one ever knows what to expect!!! I love that. Today at lunch time I went to my class at the hospital. I think that is my fourth or fifth class. The weeks are really flying by. I am hoping to have my surgery around Easter. It would work out well with my work schedule as there are a couple of weeks in there where the university doesn't have classes. That would make it easier on my co-workers. I can't believe I am working out four days a week and not really hating it. I am having some pain in the outside part of my left foot and calf that I'm going to ask the exercise physiologist about after work when I go to the gym. Jan: I haven't tried the curry recipe without the curry paste but I'll bet you could get close. Did I remember that you put frozen peas in it when you stir in the coconut milk. I was doing it out of my head and I started wondering later if I'd forgotten that part. After you try it we'll post both the reciipes for everyone. I'm getting some curry paste after I get paid Friday. DH is flying to Las Vegas Friday night to visit his son. Son and wife are getting a divorce after being together 10 years. They just grew apart and she wanted out. It kind of blindsided him so DH is going out to offer some support for a few days. We have lots of friends there, we lived there until two years ago, so DH will visit them too. And, I have a sort of vacation too because when I come home to an empty house I usually get something to eat and then take the cat and dog into the bedroom and read until I fall asleep. I am always so glad when DH gets home but do enjoy the sense of no responsibility for a few days. I was single for two years after my first husband left me and I got really good at being alone. My daughter and grandson will be moving to Union Star, MO (up near St. Joseph) in late August or early September. I can hardly wait. Have a great rest of the day. Sorry I haven't been around for a few days or so, I have been having one heck of a pity party for myself and thought "Why go on the site, I will just get depressed that I will never be a memeber of the "Post-Op Club" Then when Craig's surgery came on Monday I had to check to see how he was doing. I live in Sedalia and would have gone to see him and I offered several times and he never replied to me so I assumed he didn't want me there, that's okay he doesn't know me and I'm new, but I still care and wondered how he was doing. That got me reading the board again, reading about Pixie's plight (Oh my how horriable!! You have to find a new job, though it seems that is what they want, just let them win this one and find a new place to work where your sunny disposition is appriciated!) Anyway I may never get to be a Post-Op typing that makes me very sad but coming here keeps me educated about WLS and maybe someday there will be a way I can do it and I'll be prepaired.
