New Here

Hello All, I am new to this message board. My surgery date is 31 Aug with Dr. Hornbostel I do not have an Angel yet. I feel blessed to be having the surgery one week before my husband deploys for 4 mths, when I found out my date, my first thought was that I would have no one to help me, since I am not originally from here. I know it will still be a struggle because during my recovery my husband will be gone If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

sweet honey welcome to the missouri board first of all. So glad to have you hear among us. Post often and let us know all of your concerns. There is always someone who knows most of the answers. You have a little over a month to wait for your surgery. It will go fast . Again welcome. I am having surgery about 2 weeks before you so i dont know how well i will feel by the time you have your surgery or i would offer to be your angel. and if we cant find you one you can still count on me. Dee.... Welcome to the Missouri Board!.... we have alot of very nice folks that post here regularly. Quite a mix. Preops postops...all in between.... some do not work out of the home so they are free to post more often during the daytime hours... and then there are those of us who do work outside the home and we join in the fray in the evenings and the weekends! Quite a mix to be sure!... Congrats on the upcoming surgery date.... it will be here before you know it and then we will have another "loser" on the Missouri boards! Welcome!~ Pixielf~

Hey hey there Dee Welcome to the Missouri board, you'll find this is one of the best boards on the site and Im not just saying that cuz all the people here are great lol. We're just one big happy family who are spread out over the state, its grrrreeeaaattttttt. Just make yourself at home and post when ya can. Be warned, once you start posting your hooked, if ya dont post a for a few days they'll send the possy out looking for ya lol Seriously tho, its a great place for support and all and everyone here cares about everyone and when ya dont post we all get worried. God has brought you thus far, he "will not"leave you.. Trust in him......Email me I will help yopu thru it.. Im on the losing side now.. I had surgery on nov 9, 2005.. Ive lost 97lbs so far..
